Create single task for multiple resource assignments
I am looking to create a task (e.g. Pre-release Testing) that would span a week, for 5 people. How would I create the task, showing the resources required so that I can see the gap and assign appropriately? Would I need to create a task w/ 5 sub-tasks? Then each sub-task could be assigned a "generic-user" and I could gauge my gaps overall by how over-subscribed by "generic-user" is?Task within a list of task

This is one bug I'd like to inform you about. Projects 5 checks this "Set history off" box automatically on. Even if every participant of the chat uncheck the box it will be checked next time you turn chat on. And there is no trace of previous conversation. I have been using Zoho Projects for a while now and have a few issues that I am wondering if you all might have insight into. I manage web projects. I have more than 100 clients running their projects at the same time. Every project gets assigned the same project template with project phases and tasks. I have set some as external and some as internal. 1) Clients can see all tasks all the time. I don't want them to see the task until it is assigned to them. Hi, is it possible to include additional columns when exporting tasks? In the specific case it might be possible that person A marks a task complete which is assigned to person B. On the activities tab of the task I can see, that person B changed the status from open to close but I would like see this information when exporting the tasks to xls. This is from my iphone 6. When I'm under a specific project and I'm viewing tasks I'm able to filter so I can view the tasks of other "owners" as well as other filter options. When I go to "my tasks across projects" there is no filter. I would really like to be able to view "all owners" tasks across all projects as well as other filters. Whats the advice for using Zoho Projects to allocate a task to someone on a spready in parallel to other tasks over multiple days. As an example lets say I have 1 person to whom I want to allocate 1 hour per day for a 5 hour task? Hi Team, I am using zoho project for project management. In my organization there can be multiple projects running simultaneously. Also one employee can be work on two or more project. Now I want to assign one employee to two projects by dividing his one days work in 4 hours for one project and another 4 hours for second project. One major parameter is missing in zoho's task today: work load. Duration does not mean actual work. A task may take 3 weeks to be accomplished but will only take 30 hours of work. If we had this on Zoho, we could then realy look at utilization of resources. Today, the new gantt view for resource allocation is not useful: it assumes someone works on 1 task at the time! Dear Zoho Team, Currently i use the free Zoho Project, I have several questions regarding resource allocation in timesheet. 1. Can i record the estimated resource allocation for each team member ? 2. Can i do the gap calculation between Allocated and actual resource utilization ? For example, i will put Member A to project One with 50% allocation time and to project B with 50%. But while the project run, the actual utilization become Project A = 20%, project B = 80%. How to manage that case ? *Is it possible to set a pre-determined amount of time to a project? I know you can set times when using dates etc. However, out projects don't really work that strictly (if they should is another story entirely...). What we need to be able to do it create a Project, then create a task and say for this task you are allocated four hours. Hello! I invited a client to access the project and I noted that they can't see the project's feeds and widgets. Is it some kind of configuration I've missed, a problem or a known limitation? So I have a milestone for bugs. This milestone has bugs assigned: However, when I look into the project view, the milestone has "no tasks": So I cannot add dependencies to another task to it (ideally I would just add a dependency to the milestone, so the milestone "Test Copacabana 3.0.17" has "Develop Copacabana 3.0.17" as a predecessor, but ok..).
