Assigning a task on multiple dates.
Hey there. What about a simple point-and-click behaviour to assign tasks. I mean, if target employee is chosen, then something like point-and-click or copy-paste tasks would be very comfortable when assigning the same task , to the same person, only on different dates. Hi Guys I have registered with ZOHO Projects my XXXX.XXXX@XXXXX.SE email account. This is however just a mask for my XXXX.XXXX@XXXX.COM account which is a GOOGLE APPS ACCOUNT Now I have installed the GMAIL ZOHO APP to create tasks by Default but it does not recognise my .COM account (of course) but I do not know how to change my ZOHO account to the .COM address. I am trying to access all the projects from my zoho portal using zoho API. I noticed that when a Task List is associated with a Milestone, a user can no longer set Internal or External visibility. This may make sense if the Task List inherits the visibility of the Milestone, but it turns out this is not the case. I had an internal Task List and associated it with an external milestone. Hello. I just accidentally created a task twice, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to delete the unwanted task. It seems like tasks are supposed to have the little icons that appear to the left when you hover over the task, but this is not happening. I have gone to numerous screens where those tasks show up, trying to find the one where I can have an option of deleting, but it is nowhere to be found. I've realised that when I attach a note to a task and send a notification, the subject line on the email is always "Task Note Added" - with no indication which task. This causes a problem in Gmail, where emails with the same subject line are pulled together as a single conversation. Why is it that I can import a file into Zoho Project (docs/wiki) from Google Drive but not from Zoho Docs?! This makes absolutely no sense to me. Zoho Projects would be much more useful if it had tighter integration with other Zoho products. The primary integration would be with Zoho business: I should be able to link a Zoho project portal with a Zoho business organization, which would cause items from my projects (such as documents, tasks, and forum posts) to should show up under the appropriate applications in the Zoho Business portal. I think it would be extremely helpful to see who is assigned the task in the list on the right side pane of the "home" "feed" view. currently it only shows the task "title", project it is associated with, and days late or due today. But having the person who it is assigned to, with hotlink to message them on the task itself, without having to leave the "feed" screen would be very helpful for a supervisor to quickly send a note/reminder to the person assigned that the task is overdue etc....Cascading milestones, tasklists, and tasks
Guys, In most areas - tasks are not displayed in a cascading style, as in, they do not include information about the milestone and tasklist they belong to. This means that if you have if you have tasks which have the same name, but that belong to different tasklists and milestones, you can end up with reports which are very difficult to understand. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
