The new font, currently offered for preview, is unreadable when cleartype is disabled or not available. Hope it will remain optional.Creating Tasks in Project Template - start date and duration error
Hi everyone I created a task in a Project Template in the Classic View by clicking on the New Task button. The task pop up appeared and I entered details in the Start After and Duration boxes then selected Add Task. The Start After and Duration details do not appear on the task in the classic view and I have to enter them again. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Also, the Report A Problem tab in this section of the forum seems to be broken as the fields below this text box are obscuredCan an Admin remove a watcher from a Forum?
Is it possible for an Admin to remove a user as a watcher to a Forum post once the user has been removed from the project? For example, a user is added to a project and added as a watcher to a forum post by sending the user a notification about the forum. However, that user is not able to take on the project and therefore needs to be removed. From what I can tell, the user would need to go in and "unwatch" the forum before the Admin removes the user - otherwise he would continue to receive emailLimitation of the api while downloading the log time
Hi, I am using the Zoho api to make an application which would download the log time in all the projects. My application is meant to be used by managers and delivery heads or higher authorties who can already download the timesheets of their reportees through the zoho portal using the export link. My objective is to achieve the same through my application. "Making an existing task as a subtask: When you mouse-over the task name, you will find the Indent arrow to the left of the task name. When clicked, the existing task will be converted as a subtask for the task just above it." I don't see the Indent arrow or have an option to make a task a subtask. Any ideas? I posted about this before -- not being able to disable the display of the company name next to the uploaded company logo, and the suggested solution was to "put ' ' in the organization profile for the company name." That does indeed remove it, but then all the page titles have an unsightly in the browser title bar. The latest update to the Projects Chrome extension changed the permissions to access my tabs and browsing activity as well as my google analytics data. Hi all, I'm very impressed with Zoho, but I think the task dependancy features are wrong on several counts. I think its meaningful to say that task A must be completed before B can start, even if we don't know the duration or start or end dates of either. This would mean that B should stay in the background somewhere until A is marked as completed. We've been using Zoho for our web projects for over 2 years. It's a great set of tools for management of distributed teams. We love it, as do our clients who can see the progress in real time. Since we're building websites many project tasks are related to writing code. We use Eclipse as our main IDE and use Mylyn plugin for the context aware coding. Lets say I have a task list, with 5 items. All the items have a date associated. Now, something has come up, a delay, and I need to push the date out of the first item. When I open the tasks list in Classic View mode and some tasks have subtasks, the list looks flat. Clicking the "Reorder" link and then immediately clicking Cancel rebuilds the list so that subtasks are displayed shifted, as subtasks should. Currently, if you want to change the priority of a task or close it, when you click on the check box next to it, the update dialogue appears at the top of the Task List. It doesn't matter where the task is located in the task list, it will be at the very top. I was hoping to use the time reporting feature but I am finding a few oddities. I was hoping that someone using it could offer tips about how they use it. The area that seems most lacking is the reporting side. As a simple example, I found the only way to see who is reporting time to a project is to show their picture (and/or hover over the field in the report). Hello. I have added a client user and opened a specific project to them. I have also added individuals from the client to the project. When the client has attempted to use the zoho email address to report an issue to the project the client has received a bounce back that their email address is not registered. Also, I was initally unable to import users from the CRM. Once I was able to do that the screen would continually freeze and not allow me to import. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
