I upgraded to the Premium level of Zoho projects, thinking that I would be able to create task durations using hours. After all, the feature grid said I would get a "Business Hours" feature. However, once I started using it, I found that there was no hours option, and only whole-day increments were allowed in the Gantt view. I get the same message if I try to put fractional days into the detail window. What is the use of "Business Hours" configuration if the program completely ignores all hoursPortfolio and program tracking

I'm planning to upgrade my free membership in projects part to premium annual plan which is 299$. So, what will happen if i decide later to upgrade to enterprise plan, am i going to pay as a new subscription (i.e. 599$ as it is from scratch), or i will pay only the difference between the two plans. I am looking into the different software available to manage the workflow for a marketing team. There is a requirement that the client would be able to create a project, it would automatically be sent to their supervisor for approval and once approved become and active project. I am unable to add a new User as a Manager. The only two available options I always have to select are Contractor and Employee. I understand that I should have more than that. Hi, I would like a why to setup a project that has dependancies that are relative to each other. For example, if I have the following task list: 1 Assemble menu - Start Date Feb 20, 2009 2 Determine needed ingredients - Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 1 3 Build Shopping List - Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 2 4 Go Shopping -Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 3 From this, Zoho Projects should be able to automatically determine that: Task 2 starts on Feb 21 Task 3 starts on Feb 22 Task 4 starts on Feb 23Long Way to Go

Hi, i've read a couple of posts about the archived projects option. Because logged hours and other project information gets lost when archiving a project, we created a folder named archive in the projects folder. So now we have several client folders and one archive folder. We are moving the finished projects to that folder. The only thing we want now is the possibility to hide that folder in the 'projects by client' view. Is that possible? Please let me know. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
