If I share a Google doc in Zoho Projects, is it just a link to the Google doc on Google servers, or is it copied and stored in Zoho Projects (takes up Zoho storage space)?Generating browsable URL from GUID projectid and bugid
I'm trying to generate a url to a bug detail page (in the Projects bug tracker) from the identifiers passed back from the Projects RESTful API. The IDs I get back from the API appear to be GUIDs however, the URLs I see in the browser all used integer IDs. Is there a URL format available that takes the GUID form IDs, instead of the integer IDs? I've tried the following format, but it didn't work https://projects.zoho.com/portal/{portal}#bugdetail/{projectid}/{bugid} Thanks!Maximum Note Length
One of my associates has reported that some of the notes he has made have been lost. After poking around the only think I can figure out is that his notes were too long and not storing properly. Is there a maximum note length? Is there a way to have a task emailed only after the preceding or dependent task is completed? We have projects with dozens of tasks so when the template is moved over on a new project every user gets multiple emails with the tasks. When most of these tasks are not going to be completed for 4-6 months this creates a nightmare for the users in terms of sifting through active, current tasks that require attention as they have to be aware of which tasks have the dependencies met in order to proceed.Adding creation of New Bugs from Email

Hi, It would be very useful to forward emails to the address link provided to associate the email with tasks. Normally we save our emails as a pdf and save them on our server so that we now exactly what occurred verbatim according to the email. But when sending this to the link the formatting comes out very difficult to read. Is there any method or suggestions to work through this? Even with a strong wireless signal, often my sheets "disconnect from the server" even when my computer remains connected to the internet. I have a Project Pages (Wiki) that I use within my project. However, it seems to be a self contained entity where I cannot link or embed a Doc or spreadsheet that is part of the Project right within the Project Pages... Why not? I do not want to re-upload as an attachment within the wiki as well as in the project docs because then I have 2 independent copies. This forum is difficult to navigate. I have no choice but to start at the top and trawl my way down through every topic. Why can't it be organised by function? I don't know what is going on, but my company just made the switch to Zoho from a competitor. All of our testing went well, but now the most important part of the product for us does not work at all. When we add clients as client users, zoho does not send anythign out to them asking them to register. Their email addresses are listed under the client companies, but they have no way of coming to the site to register for our portal. Also, under bugs, we are not able to include our clients in email notifications.user forgot password

When I save my tasklists as templates, the template version reverts back to the original task order (if subtasks have been reordered). Is there a way to prevent this? Why does this happen? I also have to enter subtasks in the opposite order I want them to appear (starting from the last and ending with the first). At the moment, my project is only using the Free Online Zoho Project. Hi, In a project when we set the a test to be a recurring task we select a date start and a date end - for instance in three months time. Then we set the recurring to be one every week for 9 week. However, the system just puts the task on every day and not each week. This is a glitch with your system I think, can you test it for us and see if you have the same issue. Hello, Some requests/thoughts on the task reminder system... 1. The options for the Reminder feature on a task are very limited in use. We basically need to use another software for reminders since the options are only Daily, Day Before and On Due. We have around 40 active projects with dozens of tasks for each team member. In the new 4.0 version of projects it doesn't seem that you can schedule "in-line" when you are in the tasks view. You have to open the properties window for each and every task/sub-task to add a date. The older version allowed for editing dates, assignments, etc. in both views. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
