Forum Questions: Sticky and Announcement
Can anyone explain what exactly the two functions at the bottom of new posts do: "Make it as sticky post" I see the little thumbtack icon, but the post gets buried down the page under new posts. And... "Make it as announcement" Does that go to everyone? Even if they've opted out of notifications? It would be nice if functions and check boxes in the actual software were covered in some sort of user's guide... Thanks!Cannot access Zoho Project
My email account was used at my last employer and we paid for Zoho Project. We then cancelled it. I need to use this software again but Zoho has my user ID tied to this old Portal, which no longer exists. How do I sign up with my existing account? Telling me to call the Portal administrator from a bankrupt company is not a good option.Copy or Save Existing Tasks/Milestones or Project into a Template?
HI, I had the free version of Zoho, I just upgraded to the Express which has Templates. Is it possible to copy or save the tasks and milestones I've already created for my current project as tasks/milestones for a Template? OR can I save my entire current project as a Template? The latter would probably be better because at the end of the project it has tasks that were added which is better.Print task no longer an option in 4.0?
In 3.0 we could click on the print icon on the top right and a print version of the task would pop up for printing. Is this no longer an option? All I get is the pop-out of the task and when I go to print it wants to print the entire feed with the popout on top of it.How do I create a new Task List within the new Zoho Projects?

Hi, We are having having problem accessing one of our Forum posts on the new 4.0 Zoho Projects. When I click on the "Forums" > "[Post Title]" nothing happens. Other posts are working fine and this issue happens only with this one. In the attachment you may find what we see in the Firebug one minute after clicking on the forum post. This is a critical issue for us since we are using Forums for discussions with our clients. Could you please take a look. Thanks, MilanUploading videos
Hi. I was uploading photos and videos from my iPad, but they wouldn't upload fully. I tried printing the Gantt chart over a multi-month window, however, it automatically goes to "fit-to-width" view when printed, which loses dates and therefore, its purpose. I would prefer that the chart print in multiple pages, not condensed into one. Also, when converting to pdf, the chart is in portait mode.Hi, I'm stuck on this one..

I have a support request in , so this may be more of a warning. We were not using categories tight so I was working on figuring out how to change them - there was a category I did not need an a trash can button next to it which I assumed meant delete the category. We have several projects, involving different people, but based on the same core software. For example, project A will follow the installation and modifications of this software in company A. Project B will do the same for company B. The software is common to company A and company B. We can report bugs on each of these projects, but they are all related to this core software. Is there a way to have a consolidated view of all bugs for this software, knowing they can be entered from project A or projectView all bugs from all users in all the projects.
Is there a way that I can view all the closed bugs, in all the projects, for all the users in one view? This would really help me out when making my patch notes.Missing Meetings
I have project meeting scheduled in August which have already elapsed. However, I am not able to find them in the elapsed meeting. They seemed to be there last time I checked. I suggest removing the frame that includes Filter By & Subtasks Help on the far right. It isn't necessary to include that for a print-out (above tasks it already tells you the filter), as it makes the scale/font of the tasks unbearably small. Hello, I imagine, we're not the only ones needing this. It would be very helpful to filter the calendar views by internal and external items. This is needed in part by the fact that client company users can't see Gantt Charts. I don't understand the logic of having internal and external items if when you set lists to external, the client can't see most of the calendar views anyway. Trying to use the New 4.0 version. We love the multiple options for viewing Milestones/Tasks, however... Gantt View is not available when the user is a client company. Why is that? I've tried repeatedly to get an mpp/mpx file imported into my project. I'm limited/stuck with having a large list of tasks already on my system (Mac OSX) based. Although I use OmniPlan - which exports to MPX / MPP formats. None of these are recognised by Zoho .. any advice ? Can someone please post how to remove deleted tasks...completely. When I mark a task complete it just strikes a line thru it. Fine.There has to be a way not to combine the active tasks with the completed ones. When I select to view a task and it refreshes the page it sends me to the bottom of my tasks to the very last completed/deleted task with lines thru them. Dear Zoho Admins, I cannot receive e-mail notifications from Zoho Projects. Is there a way to change the default settings for the Gantt view of a project? It always comes up with "Open Tasks", "Current Month", and a view by individual days. Can we schedule our HR with Zoho Project? We need to plan everyday employees participation in different projects. For example: Employee John will be everyday occupied X hours in Project Y from date Z till date W (for ~ a month), and he also will be occupied T hours a day in Project R from H date till J date (for ~ two month). Hi Ive had a quick look on the forum but cannot find this anywhere.. I have a form that has two lookup fields on it, lets say Customer and Project. When I set the display Type on the view of this form to 'List' I can select the customer and then the projects assigned to that customer which is fine... However, if i change that same view to 'Grid' the Project drop down does not generate any results based on the customer name. Can someone tell me if a separate calendar is created for every project or is there one calendar that has a global view of everything going on? Hi, I love ZP for running my business, I had this working before but have made changes to our Google apps domain. (maybe that is the issue) When trying to set a "New Task" from within Google Apps I get 2 errors depending on who I am logged in as. Me or my business partner. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
