in most spreadsheet docs (Excel) when you cut the data from one area and try to put it somewhere in the same sheet the rest of the sheet is automatically moved down so that it fits in without overwriting any other information. however in Zoho any cutting moves the intended rows but overwrites other rows unless you specifically create a space of the correct size for it. this would save a lot of time if the sheet acted more like Excel in this regard. thanks.Idea : Ability to mark certain rows as title rows (heading1, heading2 et al) just like in MS Word

Hi, Sheet allows the selection of multiple cells in a Range by using the Shift key. However, it does not seem to allow the selection of multiple individual cells using the Control key, like most other spreadsheets I've experienced. I want to request allowing the ability to freeze multiple rows and/or columns in Zoho Sheets. As of right now, if you highlight a row or a column and right click or go to the "View" tab, you have to options to freeze one row, freeze one column, and freeze panes. Problem description: I have a shared sheet with my colleagues and they keep on entering different date format, even in text format. Suggestion: Can we have a data validation function per cell so we can have users entering only specific data types (ie. date) into a cell? I just observed from the public sheet https://www.zoho.com/zoho_faq.html that as per one of my previous bug report, this has been changed and corrected. Now I see an explicit button called 'Click to edit', 'Save to Excel' and 'Full Screen'. I have a few suggestions. (1) Once I use 'Click to Edit' it is disabled. Instead of disabling how about toggling it as 'Stop Edits' so that it would be like a on/off binary state switch. Zoho Team, I was browsing through a webpage and just used the 'Export to Microsoft Excel' option and then imported it into my Zoho Spreadsheet. When sorting columns in sheets I find it a little confusing. Basically I just want to do a straight sort either a-z or z-a. The problems I have are.. 1a. The pop up describing the options when one chooses to sort is confusing to the average user like myself. It says `Do you want to expand the selection? Click OK if you want to expand the selection.
