Is it possible if we require a QR code that can direct the person into the URL (actual Survey) and Does have also Reports?
Just want to have a clear feedback regarding the topic I posted here. Thank you.
Automated Emails to Part Completed Survey Participants
Hi there, I would like to suggest a possible functionality addition to ZOHO survey. All of our surveys begin with asking the user to fill out their key details, email, full name etc. on the first page. We are finding that there are a lot of participants are completing this part of the survey and then they are not completing the full survey. I was wondering if there's anyway that ZOHO can create an auto-reminder function to send an email to those who partially completed the survey (using the email
Pass the name of the survey to zoho crm and have it stored in a field on the leads module?
I'm sorry for having a brain fart! I'm sure this is something simple and I'm just missing it. Our surveys are Event or Group specific. When someone fills out the survey, I have it set to integrate with zoho crm and pass all the data into our leads module, which it does! These are the answers to the questions however. I need the title of the survey to also be stored in the leads module. Please help and thank you! :)
Using #hashtags
Is it possible to use (searchable) #hashtags in Survey in order to be able to categorize certain responses? #Hashtags may be useful for mentioning and tracking topics, issues, themes, etc. especially for analyzing collected data over long periods of time. I could not find a field in the Survey builder for it.
How to display email field on survey end page?
Hi, I'm preparing a survey as a game. I would like most people to play and only at the end of the game to get their full result by email. I didn't find any way to do that in survey. Is it possible ? The thing is the end page doesn't seem to have a lot of option except the usual "insert variable" or "link". Is anyone Has tried this before?

Multiple ways to reach your survey audience Creating a good survey is only part of the job. To make it effective you need to send it out to the relevant people through their preferred medium. Here is how you do it: Survey campaigns via emails: Upload
Randomize question order
Randomizing question order is sometimes very important in reducing the impact of 'order effects'. If for example you want ratings for 3 different products, each time asking the same questions, you would want the order shuffled randomly to cancel out order bias effects (at least at aggregate level).

Know your audience As you exercise caution while writing survey questions by keeping things short and optional, it's equally important to know your audience. Take time to research the group you'll be addressing and send them personalized invites while also ensuring their privacy. Consider formulating questions from their point of view to make them feel seen and heard. Respect their time, and be polite. As we previously discussed the importance of stating the survey goals, it's always best to communicate
Slider Scale
I want to ask a question with a slider type response. the question is "How much should xxxxxxx cost?" i want to pre-populate the options and give a price option of $0 on the low end and $5000 on the high end. i can create a slider where the labels show $0 on the low end and $5000 on the high end (with $2500 in the middle)... but the 'help' icon which hovers above the slider indicates either a numeric or percentage value between 0 - 100... which is misleading b/c the scale should be $0 - $5000.

Pushing survey data into other applications You've sent out your survey and started collecting the responses. Now comes the most important part. Analyzing it. What do you do with the responses collected? How do you make the most of the feedback or information gathered? Zoho Survey gives you the ability to create customized reports from the feedback gathered. You can apply conditions and view specific and relevant feedback. For example, with conditions you can view only the responses of people who

Go offline with your surveys When you're at events or out on the field, the internet might not be reliable. At times like this, it's useful to have an offline link to your survey. With this, you will be able to collect feedback and upload it when you're back online. How do you do this? Zoho Survey, along with other publishing options, provides you an option to enable an offline link for your survey. To set up the offline survey, all you need to do is set a password for your survey, which

Collaborate over surveys Sometimes it takes a team effort to create and analyze the best surveys. When a single person creates a survey, you can forget an important question or not put it across effectively. That's why it's always good to have your surveys proofread. Analyzing a report also becomes more accurate when multiple people are doing it. Here are a few ways to collaborate: Invite reviewer : Give access to people to go through your survey and leave comments for you to consider. However, they
Respondent Identification
I have weekly 1-on-1 private sessions with my students. Each student has his/her own scheduled, regular time-slot (so, 'Student A' comes on Wednesdays 11:15, and 'Student B' comes @11:50, etc.). Now there is an event coming up that several students will be attending. Therefore I have created a Survey in order to find out who will come to their session this week and who will skip (due to the event), so I can adjust and condense my schedule accordingly. It is a simple, one question Survey with a Yes

Make your surveys multilingual For most companies dealing with global customers and employees, it is essential to make sure you can communicate in a language your respondents are more familiar and comfortable with. Obviously, reaching out to people in their preferred language will help increase the response rate. With Zoho Survey, you can translate your surveys to over 70 languages. This includes being able to simultaneously translate the same survey in multiple languages and have your respondents

Are your surveys secure? A lot of people feel more confident about answering surveys when they know that the information that they're going to share will not be misused. Let's look at the different ways you can make sure your survey is secure: Keep it anonymous: Being able to remain anonymous motivates people to answer surveys more honestly. Avoid asking personal identifying questions in your surveys unless you have a good reason. State the reason as a descriptive text, before the survey questions,

What does logic mean in a survey? By applying various logic conditions, you can define how your respondents move through the questions in a survey. Based on their answers, you can route them to a different page or hide irrelevant questions altogether. Tip for the week: Add logic and receive the most accurate survey data Logic helps avoid redundancy by sparing your respondents from having to answer similar questions repeatedly. You can customize a local path within the survey for your respondents
Matrix rating scale label bug
When exporting questionnaire to PDF, the labels at either end of the scale are distorted. At the top they are in the correct position, but each subsequent line has the labels bunched together.

The importance of testing your survey When you create a survey, it's important that you test before publishing it. We'll see how this can contribute to improving your survey responses. To start with, you can use the preview option to see how your changes would appear in the survey. You can even share the preview of your survey with a colleague or friend and ask for suggestions to be made before you launch it. A fresh pair of eyes could find glaring mistakes and typos that you would have missed

Use fonts and colors for a more readable survey When you create a survey, be sure it's readable. Choosing the right font and colors is the key to an enjoyable reading experience and determines the overall tone of your survey. Let's take a look at how
Tiny Tip Tuesday #11
Be consistent! Consistency is critical in design. When you create a survey, make sure you maintain consistency in terms of navigation, page layouts, font, color choice, size, direction, phrasing, and language. As we discussed last week, online surveys rely on question wording and design. So make sure the design and content take equal importance in a survey. How to deal with inconsistencies in a survey Group similar questions and logically arrange them with the help of page breaks and page titles.
"None" logic option for multiple response questions
A none logic option is necessary for multiple response questions. If the respondent selects none, it should then prevent them from selecting the other options.

Good design, good business As important as it is to have well-constructed questions in your surveys, good designs also have the power to make conversions happen. While you pay attention to the language you use in your survey, it's critical that you also give the overall design some attention. With a successful design scheme, you don't need to invest any extra effort in increasing your survey response rates. Stun your respondents with a classy and smart theme that grabs their attention even when they

Seamlessly Sync Survey responses to CRM
Hi, I want to send a survey to all our clients. It's 1 question and I want the answer to be recorded in the CRM. Is there a way to connect/sync the survey respondent to the CRM contact without having the person "re-add" their email data? In another words, By sending the survey from the CRM or Campaigns, can it automatically sync the respondent back to the CRM? Thanks you, Julien

Organizing an event right! Planning an event requires a lot of thought and coordination. Surveys can help connect event organizers and customers to explore the needs of the event attendees and plan a successful event. Designing an agenda based on your participants' interests is the most important step of preparation. Identify your attendees' preferences and choices, and plan your event based on their requirements. Also, send out surveys immediately after the event, asking if attendees' expectations

Keep it short Over the past two weeks, we've been discussing why setting survey goals are important and why you shouldn't force your respondents to answer your questions. This week, we'll talk about how long your questions should be. Tip for the week: avoid asking long and leading questions Long questions can easily bore your respondents, causing them to lose interest and only finish half of your survey—or skip it entirely! Keeping your questions short and crisp keeps respondents interested and encourages

Shoot for your goals! Last week we spoke about a tip on how to get the questions in your survey right. To have a clear idea of what questions you need to ask, you need to first set goals and objectives for your survey. This week we'll see how setting survey objectives and stating them in the beginning of your questionnaire adds value to your data. When you run a survey, it's important that your respondents know what it's all about, and what your objective is before they start. Listing your top three
Why did Zoho integrate with Tableau, as this is not best suited to survey analysis?
Why did Zoho integrate with Tableau, as this is not best suited to survey analysis? It seems more suited to BI than survey analysis. Stastistical analysis of survey data requires very specific capabilities, such as significant difference calculations for proportions and means across cross-tab columns, banners, ability to handle multiple responses, RIM weighting etc. Far better options would be for example: For marketing research / consumer insight survey analysis: The Survey System, Q research, Marketsight,
How to duplicate Google website satisfaction survey effect?
How do you create a survey similar to Google website satisfaction survey? Google website survey pops-up and shows four questions to the visitor after they have carried out a certain action, such as visited a page. I guess you could also set it to pop-up after a certain time has elapsed. It would be great if the same could be achieved using Zoho Survey with Zoho Site.
Add exclusive "none" logic
In multiple response questions, it is important to be able to set the logic so that if someone selects "None of the above" and accidentally selects an option on the list it prevents them from continuing until they correct the error.
Tiny Tip Tuesday #1
Good Question! Surveys are the easiest and most effective of finding out your respondents' thoughts and expectations. You can evaluate their satisfaction levels, understand what they think about a product they have used recently, and discover what they expect from an upcoming event or a product. If you ask them the right questions, they will tell you what motivates them and what they don't love about the subject. We'll give you tips and tricks to get the questions in your survey right. Save Email Distribution Template and Send with Deluge or Webhook
Hello, We are trying to create a customer satisfaction survey which will be distributed and tracked based on the recipient's email address. What we would like to do ideally is create the survey and the email distribution template and then simply enter the recipient's email address and send the survey in one click. Form what I am seeing, every time we send the survey using the Email Distribution feature, we must manually re-create the survey email from scratch which doesn't make any sense. Is there
Validating multiple questions
Hi everyone, I have a survey which requires the respondent to allocate "points" across multiple questions using a sliding scale. For example, allocate 50 points to allocate to across four different questions (on each page). Question 1. (0 - 50) Question 2. (0 - 50) Question 3. (0 - 50) Question 4. (0 - 50) Questiona 1. Is there any way that using logic / custom function / deluge etc etc.. that prior to the respondent moving to the next page the SUM of the four questions equal 50. 2. If not,
Zoho Survey PDF report display issue
Zoho Survey PDF reports do not show cross tabulations correctly. The columns are cut off. Would suggest that variables can be collapsed into a smaller number of categories (e.g. 10 age categories can be collapsed into 5 age categories) OR a more flexible format such as MS Word or PPT that allows changes in column width.
Optimize images for mobile
I like the face that you are able to insert images into any question text. However, I would like if these images would automatically readjusted size depending on the screen size. It is very frustrating when I want to show a large single image with a question and I can get it to look good on desktop, but it looks terrible on mobile. Images are important in my surveying and it feels like Zoho falls short on them.
Help! How do I solve this problem: 'Sorry, this survey hasn't been shared with you.'
Hello, I made a survey. I wanted to test it by sharing it with my sister, my brother and myself. When I was in the 'summery' I filed in their emailadress and also mine. We all got a email like this one: Dear jair74, I have added you as a collaborator on the following survey: Klanttevredenheid onderzoek EIP Regards, jair74 But when we double clicked on the link to open the survey, we got this remark: Sorry, this survey hasn't been shared with you. So we couldn't open the survey. Please can someone
Survey quotas
How do you add quotas? For instance you may wish to only have 100 male and 100 female respondents, and once the quota is reached (e.g. male) then a message is displayed to future male respondents indicating the survey is now closed if they attempt to start. Secondly, how do specify the maximum allowed completed interviews in cases where you are not using quotas. For example, maximum 300 interviews, and then it displays a 'closed' message once that maximum is reached.
