Explore ticket extensions conveniently using the extension starter pack

Navigating through different pages to find the right extension for different ticket management activities can be a bit inconvenient. It can also be challenging for new users to pick the right extension for their requirements. 


For example, you may want to prioritize tasks and streamline the ticket resolution process for all agents to ensure everyone follows the same steps. Checklist is an extension that allows you to achieve both. It will help agents prioritize their tasks and also streamline their workflows. 

 

We are excited to bring a convenient solution: the Extension Starter Pack.

 

The option displays the right extension needed to perform a specific activity within the Tickets Detail Page, making it easy to explore and install the commonly used extensions 

 

The list of extensions is categorized under the following groups: 

  1. Customer insights extension: Businesses can install this extension to monitor data, such as find the number of tickets their agents resolve, the average time taken to resolve each ticket, or satisfaction ratings. This enhances the support team's ability to address customer needs promptly and improve overall service quality.



  2. Ticket insights for Zoho Desk: Business that needs detailed information about each ticket's responses, comments, and handling time can install the ticket insights extension. Access this extension by clicking the Marketplace icon in the top-right corner of the ticket's detail view.



  3. Print tickets extension: Users who want to easily print tickets with or without private conversations can install the print tickets extension located under the more (...) icon in the ticket's detail view.



  4. Geolocation extension: For businesses with field service teams, the geolocation extension allows admins to efficiently locate agents on Google Maps and assign tickets based on proximity to customers, directly from the Tickets module. This helps streamline that field service operations, leading to faster response times, reduced travel costs, and improved customer experiences.



  5. My followed tickets extension: With this extension, users can access a list of followed tickets directly from the navigation bar at the top.



  6. Checklist extension: Positioned conveniently in the toolbar at the bottom, a placeholder allows users to install this extension with a single click. Project teams can leverage the checklist to prioritize tasks and maintain an organized workflow. This significantly improves collaboration, reduces errors, and ensures that project timelines are met efficiently.



These extensions will be available once the extension starter pack option is enabled, which will be the default setting. Users with the manage marketplace permission can then install the extensions from the respective placeholders.
