1. How to backup your zoho files.
Unassigned request alerts
Hi I would like to have email alerts sent to the Helpdesk staff when there are unassigned requests older than 1 hour. I could achieve this with regular reports however I don't want them to receive blank reports if there are no unassigned requests. I believe there is a query to run (see topic http://forums.manageengine.com/#topic/49000002676897) however I am not sure how I can set it to trigger only when unassigned requests meet the threshold. I would also like to receive email alerts when unassigned
why isn't zoho saving documents from Writer?
how long should it take to save a document? one hour 12 hours A week? I now have to go to another company's email service to save a document.
ZOHO Support Accounts and Google Contacts
Hi, I believe unlike ZOHO CRM, ZOHO SUPPORT cannot be "embedded" in Google Apps, i.e. "ZOHO Accounts" cannot sync with "Google contacts", correct? Is this a feature on the roadmap? Best Regards Thomas

Pre-Sales Questions
I'm running a number of sites and each one needs a support system like Zoho. Would I need to set up a new account for each site or will Zoho Support allow me to do this and keep tickets, messages, etc. separate between each site? Are people using Zoho Support as a separate portal or are they able to somehow embed it into their sites? Thanks!

Add Close button for Portal Users (without emailing)
I'd like to track an additional status (With Customer) to tell me who needs to do work next. I'd like to change the status to With Customer when I email the customer and back to Open when the customer responds. I'd also like customers to be able to reopen a closed ticket. This means anytime the customer hits reply, the ticket(request) moves to Open. The problem I've found is that when customers try closing a request it will hit my rule and change the status to Open. Can you add an option to Close
Add ability to reorder workflow rules
I have the use case where I'd like to know who responded last and would like to introduce the status With Customer. Open means my company needs to respond and With Customer means we are waiting on a response. This helps cull down the number of issues I need to be looking at. To do this I add a workflow rule to change the status to Open whenever customers send a response and manually change the status to With Customer when I need a response from the customer. Zoho appears to be worthless for documents
I tried creating documents in the Docs application. I was able to complete two long documents, but the third document failed to save even though I had either pressed ctrl+s or the save button many times. So half the third document was lost. Then I tried writing documents as emails then saving them as drafts for transfer later to document format. I found that you cannot copy a section from a draft email then paste it into another document or text file. Then I found I accidentally pressed the wrong
Emails to request from unknown contacts can be posted to ticket
Take two contacts A and B belonging to different accounts. How Do You Add Email Addresses?
I created an account easily enough by signing in with my google identity. Unfortunately, that is the not email I wish to use so I went to my account to add an email address. Unfortunately every time I enter the email address I want to use, it tells me I am entering the wrong password. I know my password. It's not wrong. What do you do to effectively add email addresses? Is there a certain "echelon" or hierarchy of administrative access. I want to allow one of my staff to enter data for a seminar, but not have access to other data forms. Is this possible? Jake
Zoho does not print properly
I have a database with pictures in each record. My problem is trying to print the database with those pictures. Obviously I can print from the browser, but that cuts records off at the bottom of pages. Exporting to PDF or Spreadsheet (Excel) only exports the image URL rather than the picture itself. I found a forum string that promised more printing options in Zoho, but that was in 2008! Surely there's a way to print a full database, complete with pictures? Thank you.

At the minute they use Outlook web interface but we are moving to outlook 2007 on the RDPC Server. Since their is no plug-in that can work with outlook's OWA this is now a necessity. Hi, Have you think about upgrade zoho web application by simply upgrade JQuery? As I saw you are using JQuery for zoho web application. JQuery is under strong development, and have a lot of developers and supporters - they are working hardly to improve and speed up it. Wouldn't be a good idea to upgrade JQuery to 1.4.x version? Unwanted senders
I think that Zoho would be perfect if I could actually bounce (NOT block) an unwanted sender. I would also like a notification that a problem sender has been bounced. Also, I'm not interested in unwanted email going to a spam folder that I would have to periodically clean out. Spam folder fills quickly in yahoo and hotmail. I believe that this would discourage unwanted senders that you do not want to hear from.
