Obtaining an existing dropdown list value in a field before it is changed
Hi Maybe simple question, i have a drop down field with Sales1 / Sales2 / Sales3 as the choices if the field is changed i want the existing value to be written to a form "Original Sales Person" and the new selection to be written as "New Sales Person" Basically i am trying to record any changes regarding who is handling the sale The problem is that within a field onupdate script only the new value is available I tried to get the original value when the form loads or at another stage but then i have

Remember radio button selection
Hi, Is it possible to make radio buttons that remember your last selection? For example I make a new entry filling some fields and choosing a radio button selection. So when the entry is added the page refreshes and remembers my last radio button selection. Thanks
Login issue when embedding in other sites
I am facing an issue. I had created the form in the Zoho creator and it is in private Access. Once i embed the form in my webpage, It will ask for Login for the form. It was shown in the attached screenshot. [File name: beforeSignIn.png] After i logged in, The form is embedding in the same iframe. Refer to afterSignedIn.png. But i want to redirect my webpage to another page, which contains the form of my application created using zoho, once it is Logged in. Is there is any other options to use

Report Top 10 sorting
I created a report using the Top 10 filter. The top 10 refers to the number of (in this case) Donations (represented by field <Amount-count>). Is there a way to automatically sort the report on this Amount-count column (descending)? It looks like I can sort on all fields except the data-fields. please advise Henk

As a wholesaler/distributor this functionality is vital. I ran across Order-Slip which presents a generic form and allows the client to enter in a textarea field their order in free text which allows room for error... Add Record to View - Pop Up Form Position
When displaying a View that has a link to "add" records, is it possible to specify the position on the screen that the data entry form opens? I would like it to open immediately below the view header not randomly lower on the page requireing the user to scroll down the page for each entry/edit, etc.?
Open "Other" option in addition to pre-defined options
In my form I have a choices for my user in the form of radio buttons. I would like to add a "other" -choice, where users could input another value than the ones represented by the radio buttons. And then of course have all of these in the same report. Is this possible and what would be the best way?

How can I view Multiple List Values (selected via Checkbox) as individual records?
When I select multiple list items on a check box list (EMPLOYEE NAME) I want to be able to view each item on a separate line/in a separate view record. Because each 'EMPLOYEE' selected from the list went to the same 'TRAINING SESSION' each one has in common all the other details entered in the fields of that form. Check of fields between forms
Hello, I am starting with Zoho and I'm having great time. I have created two forms. One is for contacts with several fields including Name and Company. Second is for event with several fields including Name and Company. The user must fill first the Contact form (no problem with this). Then each time he fills the Event form with a new event, I want to check that the couple (Name, Company) is existing in the Contact form. How do I do that? Thanks Jean

I have two forms that we use for booking rides Form 1 Add_New_Ticket one has the list of tickets that can be reserved, with two fields, one is a formula (Choose_Date_and Time) that has the date, time, details, the other has the date (Confirm Date) that zoho recognizes and can be put to use on a calendar. I am building a form to capture owner info - name, address, etc. - and also property info. This info may or may not be the same. I have a check box to check if the info is the same - if not, to fill out the property info. I an building a form for someone wanting to advertise real estate and need to capture all customer and property information - which may be different from each other. When they open the app it says 'You are not allowed to access this application. API insert record problem
Hi support, We using php in our server, and insert record to creator by API. In normal case, it works. The php and server email the report to us, said it is successful. However, we found that there are about 33.3% chance, the records can't find in zoho, even we receive sucessful report from our server. Any solution? Thank you so much.

Hi, Obviously zoho.crm.create() works well...but there doesn't appear to be a function zoho.crm.updateRecord() OR zoho.crm.updateRecord() or zoho.crm.updateRecords(), which would also be really convenient. Is there any sign of this update wrapper function being created? I can use the API (XML-RPC) stuff...but the wrapper is so much easier. Hope there's some good news coming on this front? Freezing columns
Hi, We would really really appreciate if the facility of freezing rows & columns is present in the list view and the grid view of zoho creator. It is very difficult to work with large number of records with constant scrolling up and down. If using the grid view to edit data, it makes it very cumbersome and error prone. How do I create a combined view from the data of two forms.
So I created a form that has exceeded the maximum amount of fields I can create. Therefore, I need to create a second form that is a continuation of the first form. I then somehow need to provide a view that combines the data from the first form with the data from the second form in synchronized way. Example: Customer fills out form A and clicks submit. Grid View not working
Hi, When I try to edit data in grid view, I get a message that records failed to update. There is a screen to show details of the error, but it doesn't show any details. If I switch to "List" view, then I can edit the same data without problem. Cheers, Katie

At the my Website i am embedded my form, when i am embedding it that time everything is fine, now my form is doesn't load in my website. there is circle which is rounding and rounding but there is no form coming however i will waited for 1 hour. How to add labels inside drop-down?
When I view the data entered there is a drop-down box for filtering... It has un-selectable labels in it. I would like to add the same un-selectable labels to a drop-down box in my form. I have attached an image with a screen shot of each drop-down illustrating my question.
Custom Action to Print Record
Hello I am completely new to Zoho Creator and am struggling to set something up which I am sure is pretty simple. I have a Form with 20 odd fields. I also have a view set up which displays all the records. What I want is to add a button (at record level) on this form which will allow the user to print the record. I only want to print 5 of the fields and preferably without field headings and in customisable HTML format. I can see that you can use Custom Actions within the View to add the print button.

Import Hyperlink from XLS spreadsheet?
Can this .xls field: =HYPERLINK("http://www.youtube.com/user/onewaytoturn#p/a/u/1/wq72JsWH05g";"YouTube Video") Be imported to a Zoho Url field, and the Link and Link Name be propagated from the above function? In this case only "YouTube Video" is pasted in as text, not as a hyperlink. Alternatively, is there a way to have a constant Link Name content, such as "Video Link" so that the full URL doesn't show?
