Announcing New Features in Trident for macOS (v.1.20.0)

Hello everyone!

Trident for macOS is here with interesting features and enhancements to elevate your workplace communication and productivity. Let's take a quick look at them.

Change the "From" email address easily. 
When composing or replying to an email, you can now change the "From" address between all your logged in accounts directly in the Mail Composer. This lets you choose which email account to send the message from, helping you maintain the right context for your conversations.


Slash commands are now supported in the Cliq module. 
You can now use slash commands from the chat box inside the Cliq module to execute frequently performed actions like pinning messages or muting channels. Quickly execute actions with built-in or custom slash commands. 


Join Calls and Meetings even when App Lock is on. 
Incoming call and meeting notifications will no longer be hidden with App Lock. You can now receive and join calls and meetings in the audio-only mode even when Trident is locked. However, if you want to share your video or screen, you'll have to unlock the app.  

Add Webex as a conference platform. 
You can now use Cisco Webex as a conference platform while creating calendar events. To leverage this new addition, make sure to configure your email account with Webex and enable the integration in the Zoho Calendar web app. 

Customize the way you view your tasks. 
You can now sort your tasks by created, modified, or due dates to stay on top of what matters most. 

With drag-and-drop reordering now available in the Board View, you have more flexibility to organize tasks exactly how you need.

Enhance readability with more font sizes.
More font sizes have been added to give you better control over text appearance in Trident. 

To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
  1. Open Trident.
  2. In the system menu bar, click Trident.
  3. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
