Is Chrome fully supported?
I am noticing that various aspects of Zoho Creator are a bit 'flaky'. This is mainly just interface glitches and does not (mostly) lead to errors in the scripts or application itself. Is this simply because I am using Chrome and it is not yet fully supported by ZC?

Importing Street Address (multi-line) from Excel
If I try to import a field with multi-lines from Excel, the import wizard breaks the record into two records at the carriage return. Inparticular, I'm trying to import contacts that have a Street Address field that looks something standard like this: 1420 E. Main Street, Apt. #2 Flagstaff, Arizona 86004 The field that I'm importing to is a text field with multi-line capabilities. Is there special formating that I need to import the multi-line data? JavaScript error on Rich Text Field in Form
This is probably something simple but I can't find a forum post on it. When I embed a rich text field in a form then if I try to use any of the more complicated rich text icons when completing the form e.g. font, font size, insert table icons then I am getting a JavaScript error (see below about className)..and the icon is not working. I see that those same icons (on the discussion page into which I am now typing) are working fine here on this page...just not on my application form! I am on

I would like to know if there is any way on a form that you can type in a number e.g. 1234 press enter then in a table it adds 1234, the date and sign in time.Also usin the same form if you type the 1234 in again it will add sign out time. Any help please? payroll check calculator

navigating through forms

Pasting Graphical Content into View/Form
I need to be able to paste mixed content (text and graphical) into a form field in Creator. I created a test form with an RTF field. I WAS able to copy part of a Internet Web page (formatted text and graphical content)... and successfully PASTE into that RTF field and view. No problem there. When I copy content from an open Word document from the desktop (formatted text, images, graphs)... ONLY the formatted text portion shows. The images and/or graphs do NOT paste. Can you tell me what

SOLVED: Zoho settings - date format
Hello, I've noticed important and great changes on Zoho account setting. A great option is to have a Custom date format for myZoho Account. I set format to yyyymmddhhmm, this is the standard kind of format in medical bussiness. The problem is that for date fields there is no option to have this kind of format. The date is still in yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format. Is there a way to have date fields like in medical bussiness? If is not posible through Zoho options could they be implemented through scripting?
Stringlist converting to a string
I have a string list field in one form and when I convert the form a new form opens up and then puts the detail in an html view. I am having problems writing the function so that the item that was chosen in the list appears in the html view. Assistance would be helpful! :)
Group by month
How can I group records by month, ie. "January", "February" etc, and have the records in correct date order? I can derive a new month field, but cannot get Creator to group by it in date order, instead of alphabetical order. DabbleDB does this out of the box...

Intermittent issue in accessing the views for a section of users
Few hours ago, there was an intermittent issue in some of our applications servers. Due to this, a section of users were not able to access the views. We are now bringing back all the affected servers to normalcy. This should be completed in another 10-15 minutes. Affected users can access https://precreator.zoho.com till that time. We will keep you updated once all the affected servers are brought to normalcy. Charles

existing creator form shows blank screen
As of today (although I haven't checked it lately), I get blank screens in the form part (fill-in) of the 2 forms I have created - this happens on Firefox, Chrome and even on internet explorer - i.e. it's not linked with browser type or version. Edit shows what is should, as well as view - I can even see filled in forms when I edit an item, but still, when <i go to the form page to create an entry, all I get is a blank section of page (left pane shows and work) Any idea of what's going on?
How to properly declare a user variable?
How does one declare and use a non-field variable? I'm attempting to autoincrement a field, using the example at https://help.creator.zoho.com/Auto-Increment-Field-Values.html I receive the error message that the user variable is not a field. Importing from Google Doc Spreadsheet
Can anyone give me some hints as to how I can import data from a Google Doc Spreadsheet into Zoho Creator? -I have tried copy/paste -I have tried downloading as csv and importing that file -I have tried downloading as excel and importing that file None will import the data. My form view is blank
When I click on my form link, the form appears to load but the application window is blank - no form loads. The Zoho applicaiton window just displays an empty screen with only the "Insert fields" box on view. After the page tries to load, the IE 'Done' message (lower left-hand corner) shows an error which when clicked says "Grid customised is undefined" I have tried all I can think of with no success, on the other hand, this is my first day on ZOHO. Auto fill from database
I am trying to create an application, I would like it to auto fill in the text boxes if I have information in the database for that category. So if I select X from the drop down list and there is information on about height, weight I would like that to be filed in, but if its missing length I would like the left blank so someone could add that information. How do I do that?
Change text color based on criteria
Is it possible to change the color of the text displayed on a view based on certain criteria? Say, if the importance level is less than 11 could I show that as red text in a view?
Back-up Application
I'm trying to back up one of my applications, everytime i try it doesn't back-up and the description say's null. However, I'm able to back-up other applications with no problems.

Hi, Is there a way to block a new record from being created, if one of the fields is a duplicate entry in another record? Hi I installed the Zoho Creator from Google Marketplace and now I can not share outside my domain. Already uninstall the service from my google apps but reading the forum, it seems that you need to delink my google apps domain from my Zoho Creator account. Is it possible for a user to apply multiple filters at once?
I'd like to allow users to apply multiple filters at a time, without having to create a custom filter for every possible iteration. For example, while working in a given view, the user would apply varying combinations of filters: Combo 1: Status == Incomplete Year == 2009 Cost (>$1000, <$5000) Combo 2: Status == Complete Year == 2007 Cost > $10000 Etc. After this is achieved, I'd like to enable users to save their custom views to their profile and with other users. Is any of this possible?
Data goes blank after changing options
Hi, I created a single-choice question using a bunch of radio buttons to select a bunch of names, e.g. Dave, Edwin, Evelyn, and so on. Data entry had gone on for a while, and I subsequently edited the list to add two more names, and I also re-arranged the existing names so that the choices appeared in alphabetical order. User setup!
Hi I am trying to learn more about user and the setup of them. I have created a new user for zoho, and shared my appl. with this new user. My problem is that the access, I have given to the user, only shows the header and not the content of the forms. How to update a field of a parent window from a pop-up window?
Hi, I don't know how to do it the following. I have a form ("main" form) with several fields, one of them called Total_Invoiced. Then I call another form through a Pop-Up window (I would say that is a "child" window) to insert all invoice details and to calculate the Total_amount, once I have done this I would like to return this value to the Total Invoices field of the "main" form. How can I do that? I remember that in javascript you could do this using something like parent.Total_Invoiced
Form not loading
My application https://creator.zoho.com/sancher/vouchers contains a form called Voucher. (See attached image of what is seen.) This used to load perfectly well, till last week. But suddenly today the form is not loading. The application contains some reports, which are loading without any issue. Please correct this issue as soon as possible. I've allowed edit access to the application to the support team.
Unable to update data base.
I am having proglems with my account. It appears I get the following problem with all applications in my account. When I go to update any entry in any application I get the following error: invalid entries found. Please correct and submit again. This is a serious problem for me - as we use this data base to manage daily work in my organization. Please Advise.
