Embed option
If you're not going to hurry up and fix the situation where an application has to be public in order for even just 1 form to be public, then at least you can add "Embed" under More Actions when you're editing a view. As it stands now, I'm going to have to shut my sites down while I make the application private, go to every single view, get the embed code, edit that page, upload it to my server, and go onto the next view/page etc. which will take me a couple of hours. Please either fix the Public/Private
Getting error trying to duplicate a view
I created an application, but I keep getting an error in a popup window while simply trying to duplicate a view: "Error occured while duplicating this view. Kindly refresh the page and try again." Yes, the " " is part of the message. Refreshing does not help, nor does changing browsers. Creator seems like an exciting tool, but this kind of stuff makes it seems unreliable and makes one nervous to use it. cdarlow
Can only group by visible fields?
When using the "Set Grouping" in view configuration, it only lets you select fields to group by that are marked as visible in the column setup. Why is that? I can filter using fields that are not visible. Generally, in fact, you often wouldn't need to display a field that you are using to group the records ... since you are grouping by it! Please advise how I can group by a particular field in a view, but not display that column. Thanks, Craig
Database NOT working Again
I wrote previously that the database I created was not working correctly. It was not displaying properly on my screen and gave me an error which said I did not have access to the database. It began working last week and is now back to the same format. What is happening with your system and why isn't it working?? Problem with uploaded file link

View doesn't sort correctly when embedded in Firefox
When I display http://getthemtoday.com in IE, the products are listed as specified in the View in Zoho. But when I display the page in Firefox, products are displayed in a different order. I don't see how this could be due to my cache, because I shift-refresh when I view it. maureenshea

URGENT - View Error - Next Page
Since today, I can not go to the next page on any of my views and in any of my apps. Also I can not change the number of records in any view. A blank page open without any record. Please, I need you to solve this bug ASAP, my app can not run if my users can not navigate through the views.
Treo 650 update error
Things were going very well for my field evaluation mobile database until I attempted to update a record on my treo 650. No error number given just a message that a report was sent to your engineers. Please tell me this is something that can be fixed! I love this application. It has opened up many possibilities.
stumped - can't switch views in creator on some machines
I'm setting up a database, it is really simple, but I plan to open it to a large group for submissions. When I go to the view by category view I set up it defaults to a summary view and I can navigate around fine. When I try to switch to the spreadsheet or list views in the dropdown menu, it goes to a blank page and hangs. At the bottom left on the status bar (Firefox 2.0.0.12) it says "read www.google-analytics" and just stays hung. I can successfully switch the view on 2 users computers, but not
Mobile Zoho Creator is not working
Hi all. I used my Motorola L6 to enter my creator app, and it never worked. First, gave the initial image, then some HTML sourcecode was shownin the screen. Aftre scrolling, the fields titles looked cramped and badly written, like: u s e r _____________________ p a s s ______________________ then, when I typed the user and password and clicked the button; nothing happened. It never worked nor transfer anything, because once I close the browser the phone tells me that 0Kb were transfered. Please give

different ways of creating a search?
I'm experimenting with creating a recruitment database and I'd like to be able to see candidate records (name, address, skills from multiple pick list, job title etc) one record at a time in a Form view. Furthermore I'd like to have a form that enables me to search on one or all of these things. Is that possible? All I can see at the moment is the ability to use a list view which has a search function. Tahnks

Problem with my email no receipt received!
Hi I have a apllication where users log their requests and automatically get a recipt on their mail. This is for a new request and when the request is put into status closed by me. But since Thursday the requestants and I have not recieved any mail!!! Please help me. Next week I have to show the system to our key persons in our company and by then I hope the system will work! probably a stupid question but how do I script for multiple criteria when I use a drop down picklist in my form. i would like to search for products that quantity > 0 and are "active". apparent bug - field value not showing up
hi, i've got a strange problem. have shared access with support. http://creator.zoho.com/performedia/dr-network-campaigns/view/41/ there is a record with a blank "campaign". however, when i submitted and try to edit, i set the value of the campaign to "FY08_UNS_DD_MR5E39-3152_SearchServer'08Express_Pofr". however, when i submit this, the view that comes up shows the "campaign" field as blank. thoughts?

database duplication

Embedded form not loading in https
I embedded my form on my website with a Verisign certificate. It loads in http but not using https. I have done this with other forms and they work. Also, the form loads using FireFox, but not using IE. It doesn't load using Safari on a Mac either. This is the error message I am getting: Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site. unable to give a numeric upon user input
Hi, I am new to Zoho. Have practically no knowledge of programming. I am having trouble in assigning numeric points. I have a questionnaire with a check box for answers. I want to assign points to each of the answers upon user input. I dont want the points to be displayed to the user but stored for later use to be given with the report. hope I made my question clear
counter display
I am struggling to get a display counter in the form view... Is it possible to get a display counter...that keeps adding the numeric values of a field to the earlier value, upon user input, and displays the total value as a counter display? If my fields are Food, Calories. As the user selects a type of Food, and inputs it, the calories keep adding to a counter...which I want displayed... Any help appreciated.
Application has stopped working - bug?
Hi, without me making changes to it, one of my applications has stopped working. When I try to view the form for my Transactions app, it will not appear, and so I cannot add new data to my app. One strange thing is that when I duplicate the application, the new copy will work straight away. question on uploading on master detail form
I have a simple form and I am wondering how I can bulk load it. The form has two fields - country and region. Country is a linked field to another form. How can I bulk load it, as I only see that option when I am creating the form - which I have already done. The country "table" has already been populated.
Can't Search in dependent fields
In my database I cannot search on those fields which contain values selected from pulldowns that contain values determined by the values in other fields. After spending a long time creating my database I am disappointed to find I cannot print the form in the view that I want. When I download to xcel for example..it goes on for 6 pages. Is there any way I can print what I see please? petloves
setting current date and time
Hello, I would like to suggest that when using the current date and time script from zoho variables it would be nice if the time was set to user time and not to a different time wich i presume is "your" time. Allow user to edit their records
(This was posted in Feature Request by mistake) I like to use the Zoho Creator to maintain a small membership list for a non-profit organization. My plan to import all the records that I currently have in Excel format, in to the Zoho database. Is it possible for me then create a webpage (using embed weblink) and setup a password to allow each member to access and edit their own record and ONLY their record.

Which fields have script associated?
It would be nice to have a visual indication when editing a form field whether it has script associated with it, that way you dont have to go to the Script view for a form or field to see if you have added script in the past. So maybe when the drop-down menu appears when highlighting the field you see a symbol of some sort over say the 'Actions on User Input' menu item if Creator detects there is some user script for that field? Or even superimpose some small icons on the field itself for each type
