Fill form from URL
I want to be able to fill fields in my form in from a url so it would be something like this: http://creator.zoho.com/kooks/leaderboard/form/9/Victim_Name=whatever&Victim_ID=1234 However after much experiment I just can't seem to get it to work. Still not able to send mail
Harsha, I'm still not able to send mail in success in my app. I also cannot reply using the forums as the pages keep auto-refreshing. I've tried you last suggestion and also used several other coding methods and the only way to receive mail is to actually type the address into the code. "px" isn't valid in iframe height in your Embed code
When you're looking at a view and you click More Actions and select Embed, you're provided with some code that starts <iframe height="400px" but px isn't valid in iframe height (In other words, it should be <iframe height="400"), go to http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-frames-970331 and search for name="iframe" (Plus it gives me an error in my error checker ) maureenshea
Unterminated string constant
If you have your IE settings set to show error messages, the Zoho code gives the error "Unterminated string constant" when you go to a page with the code embedded. To recreate: In IE go to Tools/Internet Options and click the Advanced tab. Underneath Browsing make sure that the "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" checkbox under "Browsing" is checked and the "Disable script debugging (Other)" is unchecked. Now go to http://getthemtoday.com and you'll get the error that there are problems
Someone changed the access to my application to public
This is driving me nuts. I'm removing access to support for all of my applications since someone keeps changing access. Links is supposed to be Private and certain view within it are supposed to be Public. Yesterday all my views had been changed to Private, this morning only a few had been changed, and I jus noticed that the app Links had been changed to Public. I have just started experimenting with Zoho Creator, and thus far, the tool functionality is looking like it will work well for my needs. Application sharing not working
Hi, At the moment, sharing appears to be not working at all. I shared my application with a number of different users (with a variety of permissions to access different forms and views) a number of weeks ago. Yesterday (20 Feb) this stopped working; I went to the 'Share' tab to be told that 'You have not shared this application with anyone'. I laboriously recreated all the share settings and checked that it worked; this morning (21 Feb) I log in and, again, all the settings have disappeared. Again,

How to Set Varibale Value based on dropdown selection
If I have a drop down field say with two values "Yes" and "No" and I want to then create a "on user input" script that sets a variable "p" to 0.5 if Yes and to 0.8 if No can you provide me with the syntax. Data Collection by Email
My goal is to use Creator to email feedback forms then collect the data in their reply into the addressee's record. For example I have a record with fields: Name, Email, Comments I'd like an email to go out that will either link to a form or use embedded html to allow users to fill in their comments. Then have their comments will be added to their record automatically. How do I do this?

Modifying a field content without editing it.
Would someone give an idea of a script to modify the content of a field without editing it. For instance, what I'm trying to do, it's that the company's employees apply for an internal job position on a separate form, and then take the data from the job # field and place it on another database without giving the employee the access to zoho. Information is public?
I have created a form that I want to put on my website. I want anyone from the "public" to be able to enter information so it needs to be "Public" right? (ie: they don't have a username and password to use the form) But from what I am reading, it appears to me that by making the form public, I am also making my database (which is created from information the form collects) public and searchable by google?
