Create template of my application?
Now that I have created my application, is it possible to create a link on my website so that anyone that I invite to share it (application only, not the data I have already entered) can do so? Mobile access very slow
I still find mobile access to be VERY slow. My application times out most of the time, and does not load. It used to be that I never got the page to load, now it will often load, but it times out when I try to add or edit data. JL jlehman

"Record Summary" icon in list view doesn't appear initially
To recreate: As someone that's not support@zohocreator.com, go to http://maureenshea.com/partners.html and you'll see that to the left of the 1st column (Name) there's no little "document" icon that will display the record summary when clicked. Now either perform a search, click search and then cancel, change the number of records per page, or go to the next or last page. Now the leftmost column has a little "document" icon that when hovered over says "Record Summary" and when clicked shows the record
Background & Text Colors of forms
I've searched for an answer to this "simple" matter without sucess. How do I change the background and text colors of my forms to match my website colors? I only see the ability to change the frame and heading colors so far, but not backgrounds. For example, I would like to have a <black> background of entire form with <white> text and embed this into my existing site. Anyone??? Thanks!
hide this field to others not working

Camp Booking form - Calculate price
Register and calculate price I have a form that contains price list. I like to create a booking form that use the price list, calculate the total amount, display when user input his booking and send on summit the result. I have to calculate the price based on Pack price (A-B-C, ...), number of guests, and extra options. I have to ask for a deposit.
Data Not Posting into Table but No error?
I have a particularly advanced form that I'm working on and it has several Fields (95). When I submit information it appears to have accepted it with no errors. However, When i try to view the data nothing is there. adam.beltz
Request for enhancement?
I'm not sure whether uses that have only "view" access to a list are supposed to be able to see and click the "Record View" item to the left of records, but if they are, I'd like some way when defining a view to specify fields that display in record view (and possibly summary view as well) but not in list view. maureenshea
Print Form Letter
I'd like to build a list of my customers with the ability to print a form letter that contains the customers address. There could be several different form letters. It would work as follows: I select the customer then I select the appropriate letter for that customer and print it. A report history is kept with the name of the letter and the date printed. Grouping
When you want to group a view on a column, you don't want that column to display beneath the group. For example, if you go to http://creator.zoho.com/maureenshea/links/view/25 you'll see that I've grouped it by Vendor but that the Vendor is also displaying in that same column. Yet if I go back and Edit the app and try to hide that column, I can no longer group by it. maureenshea
add to two forms at once?
Hi, I'm pretty sure this won't be possible until the ability to add records in code is finished, but just to make sure... I have a database of people with three main forms, "Person", "Waitlist", and "Member". Both Waitlist and Member link to the Person form via a key field ("FirstLast", the concatenation of the first and last names). Error occured while creating the Application
I'm trying to create the Help Desk app and I get the following error. Error occured while creating the Application .Please try again Even when trying to create a different app in the same list it does not work. The error only occurs in Firefox. When trying it in IE7 it just asks me to download a file, after accepting it it brings me back to the enter app name page. Nothing ever gets created. Any solutions?

apostrophes are added to my exported data
When I export my data to excel apostrophes = ' are added to many of the fields. This causes me a lot of headache as I have to go in and manually delete all these apostrophes in order for my spreadsheet formulas to work properly. Is there a way to either get rid of these apostrophes or have creator do time-based calculations on its own? vilhelmedgren
Importing xls into existing form or view
I have an application that I use daily. Suddenly, got a problem with one of the forms - it's gives me an error when I try to edit or add records - "There is no such form in Zoho Creator" So I can't add or edit data, even though I can see the data in the form. I exported the data to an CSV file and copy the database, figuring I could import the CSV/xls data back into the new database right into the same form in the new, copied database. There appears to be no way to do this without creating an entirely
Using multiple views to update 1 form record?
Is it possible to update 1 record at once, using more than 1 view? The scenario is one where a customer can potentially purchase products and services. The form has too many fields for all to be displayed at once. From a usability perspective, it is also easier to break up the data entry into multiple views. TIA

I read in a forum that database information can be exported by going into View - more actions - export data But in view on my database there is a more actions but the three choices are import data, embed in website and permalink - no sign of export data Have I got mixed up? Multi-select lookup in view: only one value from child field
Please refer to the application http://creator.zoho.com/avonheadpc/test , which I have shared to support@zoho.com. There are two forms, Parent and Child, with a multi-select lookup field for Child in the Parent form. Child has an extra text field called Nickname. The problem is that the view "Parent View" correctly lists two children for ParentA, but the view "Parent View with Nickname" only lists one child for ParentA. That is, in "Parent View with Nickname" I would expect to see "Kid1, Kid2" listed

Future of Zoho Creator?
I understand that Zoho Creator is in Beta form and a price tag has not been given to the future release. However, I have been using Zoho Creator extensively and have introduced the application to many people. What are the future limitations going to be for the free version? - Will the number of resposes be limited? - Will the number of apps be limited? - Will the user ability be limited? What will happen to applications that have already been created if somebody does not want to pay for the service?
Retrieving Data
Hi there I've been testing the Zoho Creator with a mock application and it seems to be a great program! However I'm wondering if it is possible for a user to view the database and be able to select the files they need? Basically what I'm looking to achieve is to have a checkbox when viewing the database. Each entry in the database would be associated with a certain person. So if the checkbox is ticked, it will send an email to that person requesting a copy of the file. Is this in any way possible?
Search database from another web site

Hi I am in the middle of putting together a package for sale in the UK, and help on a few things would be great: 1. Is there any way to state the time in the UK (GMT?) as it appears to be US time. 2. When linking to the main page for my application, is there any way that we can disable the home link as we are trying to make it suitable for our corporate view. i.e. a user will log onto the service with a relevant password, bu they cannot add databases? Total formula field in chart view
Hi, I want to make a sum of three decimal type fields:A, B and C. So, I insert formula field: A+B+C. When I switch to view I see formula field, but blank? My goal is to visualize the total value in the chart view. I remark that I don't want to make a sum of all values in field A or B or C, which I've got correctly by enabling "sum" in column properties view configuration menu. Appearance of font, size and boldness for notes is very erra
Hi, I've made a form called Reiservaring which asks rather many questions. So I wanted to make it appear more pleasant to the user by inserting a couple of headers ("Add notes") in between the fields on the form. I've set all of them to appear Bold, Trebuchet and next-to-largest size. In the design view it all looks perfect. But when I open the form in user mode, most of them appear differently: - Bold but not larger and not Trebuchet - not Bold, not Trebuchet and not larger - possibly other combinations
Import data for other than the creator
On the 11th, I made a post asking if it were possible to allow or simulate the data import functionality for users other than the creator. But instead of being posted, I see my post was instead sent to the TRASH?? With no notice whatsoever to me to let me know my post was being trashed instead of approved?? Why is that? Perhaps someone would at least be kind enough to tell me if this functionality is possible. I want to allow other users besides myself (the creator) to submit data in bulk. Whether

iframe color issues in IE and Opera
In Safari and Firefox my views look perfectly normal. But in Opera and IE, a white border appears around the view, reaching from over top the title of the frame to the bottom to contain the 'powered by zoho' text at the bottom. I presume it is a problem with the background color of the iframe. How can I fix this?
Can't access form fields
My main form will not load. I get no fields when I try to add a new record or edit the form, but views based on the existing data still work. Other forms in the app also still work. Importing Data
I am trying to import data to my simple database. I tried copying and pasting the data from an .xls and also tried from a cvs file. Neither worked and all I ended up with was empty records. There is data in only five of twenty columns but I didn't think this would be an issue? Can you help please, I don't want to enter 140 records manually. Thank you David Riach dave

Summary View Editing
The editing mode in the Summary View would be vastly improved if the window was larger (ideally, full screen size). On larger records, the window is too small to properly view the information that you are editing. This is a shame, because the clean form would otherwise be perfect for editing, and comfortable for users already used to the layout from the original entry form. Can you please improve this situation for a dedicated user? adam
Added time problem under criteria setting
I'm trying to set the criteria on the "added time" of the data. But every time I put the date and time of a particular record I have an error: "error ocurred. we are sorry for the inconvenience..." I tried different ways to put the date ot the time or both but I got the same error over and over again. What I'm trying to do is to display only the records before certain date. Can not save script ot duplicate application
For some reason one of the applications I haver is not allowing me to save the script for backup or duplicate it at the home page. Any clues? The app is shared to support.
