Created a secured, public app
Zoho Users, I think I've succeeded in creating a secured, public app using Creator. It's at http://www.officeswap.com . I refer to it as an "indirectly secured" app in that it uses Zoho logins, not my own. So it has one clunky step. I'm interested in any comments but especially: 1) Try to break it... meaning prove you can change data or use it to send an email to a post-er without logging in. 2) I saw a thread about passing parameters between pages. Post data to two forms at once?
Thanks again for all of your support and a great product. I would like to know if Deluge can create a new record in a form, other than the one the script is written in. For example: Form 1 can be used as an up-to-date database for current information, and Form 2 can be used to store the original user submissions for back-up purposes. Therefore when a user updates Form 1, Form 2 will keep the original information in case we need to look back on it. I can figure out a work-around if needed, but after

PLEASE HELP! I created my social media resource under my Friendly Ghost online identity. Now, I no longer use that, so I want to use 'Brendan Cooper' instead (ie my real name). So, I simply thought it would be a case of signing up with a new account and copying the application over. No. The application is copied, the data is not. How to Sort a Picklist
I have a lookup field in a form, which pulls values from a Text field in the child form. When this field shows a dropdown selection during Add, the picklist default sort is by record "ID", not the Text field. I can't find a way to Sort this picklist. I've tried adding a Clear statement and rebuilding with the Field.add() function, but this retains the original sort (by ID). Do you know if/how I can sort a picklist?

I am creating a sample zoho database to experiment with related forms. Very simple app, but I'm running into a need for a two-field picklist, since the uniqueness is really a pair of fields. The sample app is a playlist of songs, based on on-air date, artist, album, and song title. First I love ZC and am working on an application to track participants, their lessons & assessments for a therapeutic riding program. I need it to have 2 users add & update records and was wondering if 1 instructor updated an assessment record is there a way that these changes are stored somewhere? (similar to the way that Writer stores the "history" and you can view the prior entry. 1. When I create a sub view I don't have the ability to sort the columns on the fly the way I do with the parent view. Am I missing something? 2. Disappearing Vertical scroll bar & Edit/Access this appl
No vertical scroll bar on the right No edit (or access) your application button by the tabs (see attached printscreen) Then sometimes it does appear and when it appears, the vertical scroll bar appears as well (attached printscreen). Very frustrating when trying to create or edit applications and the tools are intermittantly shown. I have a form with 50 fields. I have created a summary list view which shows 3 of those 50 fields. How can I create a dynamic link, to accompany the 3 fields, that when clicked will open a summary view showing the entire 50 field record?

cannot work out auto filling fields

Thanks for the awesome apps for a newbie like me. I have created a lead generation form where readers of my site can ask for more info on select products and select companies. Is there a way to send a mail to the selected companies under email notifications. How do I narrow down the list of companies to the selection of products. Zoho creator editing
Hi--I adore this program. One big problem I'm finding is that when I need to edit an entry, the scroll bars are very awkwardly placed beyond the browser window. (I have a lot of columns on my form.) It would be nice to put scroll bars right next to the editing boxes, rather than all the way at the end of the chart. carl

Hi there, In my application "Database Reizigersinspraak", I want to display information to any user, but I don't want allow anyone to change the data. So I set the application to public, and on creating the views, turn all permissions OFF for add record, edit record, and delete record. RSS Feed Broken, and Can't Write to Form via API
Hello, I made a post yesterday, but it seems since I posted an URL, it still hasn't been approved for posting. My previous problem was I couldn't write any values via XML-RPC to 'Examples' form in my japanese-knowledge application (that I have shared). XML-RPC would report success, but nothing would stick. IIRC, I could edit and change values in the list view. Now it seems the RSS feed is gone too (if you go to any view based on 'Examples' form, and click export, and click RSS private link). Perhaps
Dynamic picklist
Is it possible to do the following (I haven't figured out a way yet): Form A has 3 picklist fields (1, 2, & 3). I want the field3 picklist to show the values that were selected in picklist fields 1 & 2. I tried the "Clear Picklist" code example listed in the Deluge Help section. I added the code as an "on update" when fields 1 & 2 were updated. But it resulted in only the field2 value appearing in the picklist. The Field1 value was overwritten once the script was run for field2. Any help is appreciated.
Searching a Checkbox Column
Hi All, I've created a very simple database that I'm using to manage media contacts for my company. I have probably inputted about 40 or 50 contacts so far but am having trouble searching through the fields. One of my columns is listed as a "Beat" column which contains a the checkbox feature.
