Deletion in public view
Hi, If I have created a form which is publicly available . Is it possible that some user can delete the data entered by some other user.
this page no longer works as excpected....
just got a message.. "this page no longer works as expecte... pls delete the page" and trying to log in... the page no longer exists.... what happens ??? all application lost ???? Pls inform...
Cannot add a new field
I'm working on an order tracking system for my custom picture framing shop. I cannot add another field on my Order Details tab. It just hangs, with the spinning circle indicator. I've even tried rebooting, with no luck. ZoHo support - feel free to look at my private "TFI Order Tracking System V2". Do I need to share it to allow you to investigate?
Importing from XLS Sheet
I am trying to create an application from a simple XLS sheet (has 3 worksheets in it). When the automatic Field type screen appears, only part of the screen is shown. I am able to see all the fields from sheet 1, but only 3 fields from sheet 2 (out of 7) and none of sheet 3. Though the scroll bar appears, there is nothing at the bottom to scroll down to. murli_balu

How do I create a new entry without being limited to a picklist of existing entries? E.g., I want to add a new person but can only select from forenames already entered, which is useless. anngodden

How to embed mutiple tabs in my site

error while fetching the data
At http://zohocreator.com/ramonwk/proefformulier/ I spent a weekend to add data. Retreiving it worked fine. Now all I get is "error while fetching the data". I have no way to correct this or see the raw data. How can I fix this. Entering all data took me about 24 hours! ramonwk
Left margin cut off in imported Word document
I've just started using Zohowriter so this might be a user issue.... I imported (twice) a Word doc from my office network, and both times it appears with the left margin and first words in each line cut off. I'm using Explorer. thanks for any advice. jayne
Update to the Forms
Under your FAQs you mention: If you want to perform action whenever a the value of a field gets modified, you can write an on update script for that field. Can we do an ON UPDATE or better yet an on change on any of the fields and a sendmail action will be called? email

formulas
i really have problems in using formulas... when i choose a field-type... formulas are not shown on pulldown menu as type... changing the script (according to your formula-help) returns errors as well (such as : A form field of any type cannot be modified to a formula....) Can you help ??? Or is there a update so Pulldown menue shows formula fields as well ? info

Broaden your audience
Why limit the software into having the application run only on your servers? I know this application is made for people who know nothing of programming or databases, but think about it. If your product can be used by beginers, and advanced users it would be a great program everyone would hear about. odayict

This app takes FOREVER to load. I want to use it on my website but a user would have to wait two or three minutes before they could use it - no one is going to wait around for it. Any plans to fix this serious problem? wesfoodie

Dear Zoho Creator Team, I am a registered member of Zoho creator. Recently i got a mail asking for re-registration(to be in tune with other zoho services). Issue 1: I signed up with my username, mailid, password and that image text given. On clicking "I accept. Create account" the only message i got was "Error while registration". Nothing else. ZohoCreator sorts by date but not by time
when i sort items by date with the most current date at top, i would think the items would also sort by time with the item i added last appearing on top. instead the item added last gets added to the bottom. can you please fix this? hughes

Post/Find from one Database using Field Forms?
Your product is amazing. After using it for 5 minutes, it does almost everything I could ask for. One thing I have yet to find, though, is the ability to retrieve information from a single database using field forms. For example, the sample date application allows one to create a profile using field forms. Is there a way to search other people's profiles using field forms as a means of selection? wrocklin

Problem Adding Users
I hoping someone might be able to help me. I'm trying to add a User but when I click "Add" after entering the User's email address ZohoCreater "hangs" and nothing seems to happen. Error editing application - 403 error

Hello, I edited one of my fields under the GUI Editor from Text to Single Select and now it tells me to delete my page. The field name was Team # in my CERT Contact List Application. Pass parameter to View
Hi, I'd like to give customers access to my application but I'd like to give each of them a different filtered view of my main View based on their userid. So, I'd like to have a table of userids giving the company name associated with each userid. When a particular user logs on I'd like to lookup their company name and put it in a variable. I'd then like to be able to give all customers access to the same View but have the Base Filter for that view only contain the records that match the company
Forum Search
Have you ever tried to search for something on the Zoho Forums? It's really rubbish!! :) You get results from all sorts of forums that you're not interested in, and it's difficult to tell which forum they refer to. If I'm looking at the zohocreator forum then I just want to search on that. Because a lot of the new zohocreator features are only documented on the forum and not in the 'official' documentation then this makes it difficult to refer to some new feature that has been recently added. Currency Decimal on Edit
Hi, i put a currency field with 2 decimals, like 0.00 When i am in the report, and edit the value of the field, like 8.45 it will not update, but if i edit and fill with 8.00, it will update. There is a problem with updating fields with currency type?
size of embedded window on my Web page
It appears that the application wants to go very wide when embedded on my Web page, much wider thatn the application requires, in spite of parameters I have established for table & cell width, etc. Is there a way to control the width of the embedded application when it appears on my Web page? Deletion Bug
Deletion bug found when deleting records. Criteria: Filter= All View= 100 per page Select next page. Now viewing 101- 200 Select records Select Delete Popup display "Select at least on record to delete" and no deletion takes place. Adding Users
I am having trouble adding users and giving proper permissions to those I have been able to add. When trying to add a single user the page times out and the following error code generates: Line: 84 Char:4 Error. 'c372' is null or not an object Code:0 URL: http:/www.zohocreator.com/users.do This comes from an IE 6.XX session but I cannot properly add/change users through the current version of Firefox either. Scheduled Maintenance
I always laugh when Zoho Creator is down for 'Scheduled Maintenance' because I always wonder who it has been scheduled with. How are we poor users supposed to know when it is going down? Thanks, Lee
