I own a service based company, we service our clients weekly monthly etc. I use ZOHO CRM to manage all of my clients, I was wondering if there are any service companies that are also using ZOHO. I need the ability to automatically change the next service date once they are done servicing the client. Is there anybody else using this kind of functionality with ZOHO?
Which is better to use? Zoho Forms or web forms in CRM?

searching multi select pick list in a custom view
I have set up a multi-select pick list field for sub-industries. When I enter the data in the pick list, it allows me to select multiple items. BUT, when I want to use the field in a custom view, the pick list is not available. My users would incorrectly type in the search requirements, hence the need for a pick list. Large Scale De-duplication
We have 25K records in our lead file and 5K are duplicates. I have downloaded the complete database and all the files. I then opened the lead file and removed the duplicates. I now have a clean file. I want to remove the old lead file from CRM and replace it with this new clean one. How do I do that? I'm open to another way... Just don't know how to be effective on this larger scale problem. Where is "Advanced Search?" Is "Advanced Search" now "Filter by"? Is it possible to do a module-agnostic and field-agnostic search for a string for any given record (Account, Contact, etc)? Can I do a boolean search? How? Example 1: I want to find all instances of the string "signed contract" for the selected Account. Example 2: I want to find all notes, for the selected Contact which contain the word "invoice" AND NOT "ACME"?

I, like many others, use Google Voice as opposed to Skype. I've been through older posts (some from 5 years ago) concerning the use of GV within CRM to make & receive phone calls but I'm still not clear on how to accomplish that. Potential with Quotes
We have customers where we do a lot of quotes, in the service industry, and it would be good to track them under a single potential. Problem is that there is no way to sum the quotes and apply them to the total potential and then apply % based on quote stage. This would give me a true potential view. Any ideas?
Creating modular functions to be called by other custom functions.
How would you go about creating a function that is given an input and returns a value? In my case I want to clean up phone numbers but I don't wish to rewrite the essential code 3 times over for each mobile, landline and alternative phone number. From Field not sohwing my email address as an option
Hi, When trying to send an estimate from Zoho CRM (via the Zoho Books integration), the drop down field in the email template will not show my email address. It only shows the addresses of the two other administrators. So I cannot send out emails that are coming from me when I send estimates... The one solution that seemed promising was to create an Organizational Email for my email but that does not seem to have had any affect.
