Using only Leads whithout contacts
I am planing to use just the leads modul. The reasons to ignore contacts arefollowing: 1. By sync with Zoho Campaign I have to sync Leads and contacts and to send two campaigns not one. 2. The mobile app does not search in leads and contacts together 3. The field sync between Leads and Contacts is hard I know that the potentials and invoices are connected with Contacts and may be I won't be possible to use them. Has someone used zoho just with leads? What other disadvantages could happen if I do

Post JSON using postURL (to PayPal) - nested/multilevel JSON
I am trying to make a POST to paypal. As I understand ZOHO functions cannot handle multilevel or nested JSON strings. So I have had to create my JSON string manually. I believe the string to be formulated correctly, however when I run my custom function I get the following response in return> "responseCode":"400","responseText":"The request had bad syntax or was inherently impossible to be satisfied." I am pretty confident that my JSON is formatted correctly for the required POST> Here is the documentation

Adding and tracking multiple attendees
Hi, We sometimes hold meetings or forums with many contacts. Sometimes the contacts are from one account and sometimes the meeting may be a working group that is attended by people from different organisations. It's like an event but I don't want to send invites or track responses directly via email. If I don't do that I cannot find a way of updating who attended, who declined and so on. Email inbox tab - Zoho CRM
Hi there, Our organisation have subscribe to the free Zoho email plan. We are using it and it works pretty well. I have seen somewhere that I could add a tab "Email Inbox" in Zoho CRM so we can read our "Zoho Email" mailbox. I Did: Set up => Customization => Organize modules => Moved "Email" from unsekected tab to selected tab => Saved For some reasons the tab doesn't apprea in the tab section of my Zoho CRM. Any idea? Emails not being saved to ZohoCRM
At least one of our users is not seeing his emails from Google Mail saved into CRM. Everything appears to be set up properly and he is getting no error messages, just no new messages being saved into the Zoho email and hence not being associated with the contacts' records.
Zoho has stopped importing emails from Gmail
Hi, When I started using Zoho I configured it so that it would import all my emails from Gmail (Google for Business). It seemed to do this very well and I now have a really good email history for my contacts in Zoho. However I have noticed that for the last few weeks, Zoho has not been importing emails. I haven't changed the settings in Zoho and Zoho hasn't given me any warning messages. I use two-factor authentication with Google so this may have some impact. Please can you help me resolve this,

Zoho Email addon and Gmail (or Google Apps Email) - using google as email client not Zoho CRM
I understand from the video demo that your Email addon allows us to have relevant emails shown with contacts in Zoho when I use the integrated email within CRM, however I want to know if my emails will show up inside zoho under the relevant contact, when I use gmail (or Google apps email) as my email client, meaning I will do almost all of my sending and replying to emails withing Gmail, not within Zoho CRM. If I have everything set up properly, will the emails be updated in Zoho CRM automatically

Associate email (gmail) to potential
I cannot see Gmail sent emails in their respexctive potentials. Spent hours configuring and re configuring Zoho mail Add on + making testes: no way! All mails sent from Gmail are visible under the Zoho mail icon... but not in their corresponding potential. HELP!
Creating a module, editing field properties of 'module name'
When creating a new module, is it possible to change the field properties of the module name? Or should i create this in ZOHO Creator? Company uses a lot of 'quotes' - and it is impractical to name every quote. It is a commodity trader and sometimes during a phonecall, some 20 or more quotes for products are given and received. Permission Denied converted leads - Admin

I have the same type of client. Contact name Contact phone 8 tasks 3 events For each new contact I create I have to add 8 tasks to do (buy domain, make hosting account, make website, make email account etc.) and 3 events (up front payment, final payment and call for renew) Is there a possibility when I create a new contact the 8 tasks and 3 events (predefined) to be created on the fly for me?

Restrict users from entering setup and changing structure of the templates?
Hi, we have about 80 users on a different levels of security and 3 admins which are responsible for the data. We would like to restrict all of the users from entering setup and changing data, most of all templates used for offers and contracts. Is it possible for us to restrict them from changing the structure of templates in setup and updating in mail merge, but for them to be able to use or edit them while merging? Regards, Uros

Could anyone advise me how to set the call type as outbound by default when logging a call? Also, I'd like to set the default time of any tasks for 9am but I can't see how to do this. I'm new to CRM so any help would be much appreciated.

Matrix Reports no calculating
Our activity reports, which have been working just fine until this am, are now showing 0 for activities, if you change the report type it pulls just fine. Emails > Contacts tab missing
Hello, I've just registered and decided to try out Zoho CRM. There's one issue though. When I go to 'Emails' and try to 'Compose' a new one and open contact selection, there are no tabs for 'Mail' or 'CRM', so I can't select any of the contacts from CRM to send emails to. Please help. BR Alex

Is it possible to select a product when adding a line to a quote by any other means than searching on 'Product Name', I would very mush like to be able to select on Product code or part number. Is this possible?
Vendors don't Link to a Contact
I tried to post this earlier but I never saw it posted. I need to figure out how to get the contacts associated with a vendor to pop-up when I click on a vendor. No matter how I enter the contact that spot is always blank in the vendor tab.
installation of outlook plugin does not work
Hi, I am trying to install the plugin for outlook in order to sync my calendar with the one from the CRM. The installation seems to finish properly, however I cannot see zoho plugin anywhere in outlook and I also cannot select it in the list of add ins. Potentials time consuming
Hi, We have been using Zoho CRM for nearly a year now in our carpet/flooring/furniture retail business. We are creating Potentials for each potential job we get which is great, but we're finding it time consuming and tiresome for some staff members. (I have recently lost a staff member partly down to having to use Zoho!). Are we doing the right thing creating a potential for every job. Average 150 potentials per month between us. For several years I have been producing some daily reports using Repost Scheduler, which are downloaded to Excel and emailed to me. Since Thursday 15 October the reports have changed, and not for the better. The report heading has disappeared, and the data reports on every second line in Excel. Workflow field update does not fork for me
Hi, I have two workflows in Envent Modul: One sends a special notification to the Lead about the meeting that we have arranged. Second send the same information in case of field update: Location, From, Unfortunately the second workflow does not send any emails. Hi, We are in the residential market, and our customers do not have a company. Any best practices out there when dealing with residential customers? Should we just name it "residential" under company? Also, do we convert leads into contacts or potentials when the job is sold or estimate is sent? Thanks, JA.
