Hi Zoho Guru's, We are migrating from Goldmine to Zoho. So far like the web interface. The biggest issue is that the current theme contrast puts a lot of strain on the user eyes. Is there a way to change the colors and make the field areas more contrasting so that its easily distinguished from data and other headings. Any help will be highly appreciated. Cheers Tim

I think it is time for Tasks & Events to be upgraded to include some of the more usual features in apps of this nature. Tasks should have the ability to reschedule a task into annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly , daily schedules AND include multiple reminder prompts as most task apps do. The events and task app should have the ability to show or not show completed tasks and events as a selection option. Tasks should be able to be shown as % completion as in ZOHO Projects and be able to to have sub-tasks.I
Custom fields to prioritize follow-up with Contacts
I need assistance implementing the Last Activity Time or Last Modified Time into custom forms. Everything I've tried is not working. I have ZohoCRM set up to sort my contacts based on Aged Importance. If I don't need to contact the client, they don't show up on my list. If I need to contact them, those who are more Important show up at the top of the list. Less important clients move up the list the longer I delay contacting them. Add to Campaign popup list
When I go to a contact and want to add that contact to a campaign I get a popup that shows the first 10 of all campaigns I've ever worked on, including the ones that are complete or inactive. Is there anyway to have this list default to just my active campaigns, so I don't have to wade through a bunch of campaigns I'm no longer working on?
Overall Slow Connection
Our business doesn't use the email services that Zoho provides. However we do use the CRM quite extensively and recently we've been noticing an extreme slow down in overall connection speeds. Is there any particular cause of this and is this issue being addressed? We feel that it shouldn't take 15-20 seconds of loading time for every click on every link within the CRM. Confused As To The Relationship Between Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail
Please forgive me but I am not technical and wish to make sure this seemingly impressive suite of products can do what I need it to before I buy it. 1. I was able to upload my contacts from Google Apps to Zoho Mail and it works really well but I can't seem to find a way to get them from Zoho Mail into Zoho CRM? 2. I can't find a way to send a receive e-mail within Zoho CRM and have it synched with Zoho Mail (and needless to say vice versa)? This appears odd as why bother if the two can't be synched?
Zoho CRM - Importing previously exported Tasks
Hi, I've just exported my Tasks from Zoho CRM. This gave me a nice CSV file with correct columns and data. I didn't modify it in any way. Now I want to import these tasks into Zoho CRM. Everything seems to be ok except one thing - after import there is no Task Owner assigned. I've tried (in the import process) to set field for Task Owner to almost any (reasonable) column from CSV with no success. I thought that the column should be set to that with zcrm_6..some_digits... Customizing a "lead" web form
I've figured out how to seamlessly integrate the web form into my site and it works great. I would like to know if there is a way to customize the look and feel of the page behind the form though. Currently it goes from my site that has a very constant look to an all white page with form boxes. I'd like to be able to code in some html and add colors and so forth. Is this possible? If so can you direct me to where? Thanks!
Web to Lead Form Ownership Assignment Not Working
We have recently implemented a Web To Lead form on our site which is proving popular but the records being created are being assigned the user name of the user who created the form despite the form being setup to assign ownership to a different user. Why is this happening and how do we correct it?
Emails within Zoho CRM don't reach inboxes within my organization
Hello, I am exasperated at trying to get this issue resolved. I noticed that when I create an event and then add and send an email in Zoho CRM the email goes to all external email addresses (Yahoo, Gmail, hotmail, etc.) However, no one in my internal company network (including me) is receiving these emails. I have contacted Zoho CRM support through email and chat, we have white listed the two IP addresses given and the zohocrm.com domain still no difference, I even added the include:zohocrm.com
Labels for Phone Numbers?
In general, it seems as though you don't provide any way to have multiple phone numbers other that "Phone" & "Mobile" for a contact. I am just getting started with Zoho, so would like to know if there is a way to add additional phone numbers? Also, is there any way to attach a note to a phone number?
Importing Leads
I tried to import leads from my database. I don't have first name or last name in some of the records that are being imported. How do you remove the mandatory field requirement so I'm not losing 1/2 of my database. The field should be blank as my admins job is to get correct information as she is making calls to the businesses. How do I remove this mandatory field requirement? Urgent help!!!! Uploaded leads not showing in CRM
Hi Zoho CRM support, We are paid users of CRM. I am trying to upload leads information in excel format into CRM, after I tried first. The system each time would tell me that all 1200+ counts were added successfully, as can be shown in importing history as well. However, it is not showing anything in the "Leads" section or anywhere. But when I tested the autoresponse mail by importing leads via the website form with several email-accounts (zoho, outlook, gmail), all of them became leads, but none of them received the autoresponse-mail (not even in the spam box). Google Apps email Integration
Hi I have a 21.81Gb (and growing) mailbox in Google Apps. We have 5 user licenses for Zoho CRM Enterprise and the other users mailboxes are all less than 2Gb each. My interest in the integration is so that emails are attached to Leads, Contacts, Cases, Accounts. I have enabled the Google Apps Integration but have got an error message because the mailbox has gone over 6Gb. How do I resolve this? Thanks Simon

Additional Users, separate billing
Hi All, We want some of our channel partners to access our CRM but we would prefer if they pay for their users themselves (we are not in the business of selling CRM's). My question: Is it possible for someone to open a (paid) account and then "link" that account to our profile / CRM / database. So I want them to access records assigned to them, but I do not want to create the additional user under our account - the billing should be separate.

Hi I've set up a Web Form in ZOHO's Webforms. But when I cut and paste the code onto my website, it shows up fine when my site www.newzealandemigration.co.uk is published, I can fill it out but I then cant seem to find it anywhere in my Zoho account. Any ideas? Is there a time delay? Thanks Rich.
Zoho crm email not working on professional edition
I have a gmail account i am trying to use with zoho crm. Is there a simple set of instructions to get this setup working. My email is dead in the water even though I have followed the "'documentation" . Anyone have an idea of what to fix? I have followed supports instructions but they did not solve the problem. They told me to go to Email -->Settings and add the account info. Which I did but nothing working - except Gmail.com. Thank You
Mapping Fields Account Name in Leads to Account Name in Potentials
I am trying to map a custom field (Account Name) that I created in the leads module to Account Name in the Potentials module. Both are set up as Lookup fields. When I use Map Fields to map Account Name in Leads to Account Name in Potentials, Zoho won't allow it. To me this would be a basic requirement so the user does not have to reenter the account information. Did I overlook something or am I doing something incorrectly? Thank you. John Galich

Hello, It is very important o be able to filter leads and accounts based on notes being added to them . Currently, the "modified time" works when modifying a field ( though not in the ajax mode) in the usual fields, but NOT when notes or attachments are added. Considering that adding "notes" to a lead or an account is something likely to occur frequently, it is important to monitor this " adding notes" function. Field update doesn't work on Field edit - only works on Form edit
I created a Field called "TA Rep" in accounts. I created a workflow rule to trigger on Field update.... Now, when I click the edit button that edits the entire form/record, the workflow fires and runs correctly. However, if I click the little "edit" link for just the field and edit and save it, the workflow does not trigger. Is this the design?
"Owner" when creating a new Potential
We have a few consultants that we do not want to have access to our Zoho database but do write proposals on occasion. We want to have them listed as the Potential "owner" but are only able to choose from active users. Is there a way around this?

When I click on Search and Add email, why don't I have the option of attaching the email to an account? The only options are Potentials, Contacts, and Leads.

Custom Links not working as expected
I have added Custom Links to Leads and Accounts, It uses a custom (Number) field uid, Only that the number in the link has "," i.e id uid is 1500 the number passed to link is 1,500 and thus the resultant link is broken.

Hi everyone, Here's what I want to achieve. As you're all probably aware, getting sales staff to ask customers "where did you hear about us?" is an ongoing pain the behind and often an answer is chosen in Zoho CRM just to satisfy the marketing manager (i.e. me). So what I'd like is for a survey email to be sent when a potential is created that includes my field for enquiry source that will allow the customer to pick where they heard about us and for this information to be passed back to their record.

Hi, I can able to get values using "https://crm.zoho.com/crm/private/json/Leads/getRecords?authtoken=%s&scope=crmapi" which gives all values but i need to get count for only specific period (i. e I need the open potentials count for the period between 17-03-2014 and 23-03-2014). Let me know how can get the same. But in Zoho UI , i can see it under Reports with custom filters, i need the same through API call. Thanks in advance.
