What exactly is the function of the Potentials?
I don't really understand what the function of the Potentials module is. Why wouldn't I just use Sales Orders or Invoices? Is it just an arbitrary amount of revenue I can anticipate from an account I can anticipate once it has been won?
Apple vcard import not working
Hey together, i tried a few days zoho crm and it looks far from good. But if i will import a contact vcard from Mac AdressBook i get an error message Other vcards, example the german network platform xing (similar linkedin), the card is imported. Zoho CRM integration with Quick Books Enterprise Solutions 13.0
My company is trying to determine the best way to post data from our Zoho CRM and Zoho Invoice accounts into Quick Books. We just upgraded our QB Enterprise Solutions software from 12.0 to 13.0 (which is WAY better). The problems is that now Zoho is not compatible with Quick Books. According to our developer we are now "waiting until Zoho catches up to 13.0". So my question is, what is the estimated date when Zoho and QB 13.0 will be able to work together?
Why such a ridiculously low number of lookup fields?
Why such a ridiculously low number of lookup fields? The whole point of a data base is to efficiently store information but this is really a factor which I have found so frustrating. It means that data may have to be input manually multiple times just to tailor fields like address fields to adapt Zoho CRM to UK conventions, on data sets which are common for multiple modules such as address information. I have used up 60% of my quota on lookup fields for the address alone. Obviously the relationships
Information from Quote to Potential
Hi, I like the quick way of customizing and working with Zoho CRM, however I am trying to update the Amount field of Potentials with the information I get out of the Quotes we generate in order to have a good insight in our sales funnel, and being able of doing better sales forecasting. I have been searching on the forum for a solution to accomplish this, but haven't found so yet. What is the roadmap here? I see the question is already open for a couple of years? Hidden Sections Under Layouts for certain Roles??
Is there a way to hide a specific section on a Sales Order from certain User Roles so they are unable to view the information? I can see how to hide Sales Orders altogether from certain roles, but I need my sales team to be able to see that an account has sales orders, but would prefer to hide a section showing commissions, etc. from all Users not specified in a management roll......

Editing Stage field
In the Potentials details page it is possible to edit most item by hovering the mouse over a field (eg Date Quoted, Amount) and change the corresponding entry. However, this is not possible with Stage, which does not have the edit feature. Can Stage be given the same edit feature? Currently the only way to do it is to open edit for the whole page, which is a pain.
"Tasks" related question.
Hi There, When I am creating a "New Task" in the "Related To" field, I want to be able to select "Leads" module from the drop down menu. Currently it is only showing "Accounts", "Potentials" and so on but not the "Leads". Can you please let me know how I can change this?

Cannot open/download document attachment in Zoho CRM when using Chrome browser
Clicking on a file attachment (PDF file in this case), results in an error, resulting in not being able to download or open the attachment. This occurs in Chrome, but works correctly in Firefox. In Firefox, you get a little context menu allowing you to either download or open the document. In Chrome, nothing happens, but you get this error in the Javascript console.

Auto BCC when clicking a contact's email address in Zoho
I'd like to propose a setting where, when you click an email address inside Zoho (not the Send Mail link) it not only composes the email in Outlook (or whatever email client you use) but also auto-BCC's Zoho. I see it being discussed elsewhere in the forum as far back as 6 years ago - what's the problem with implementing? This already exists in Batchbook CRM.
email templates not inserting variables
We have set up several email templates and find that they sometimes insert the variables correctly but more often do not. Support suggested deleting and re-adding the variables, which solved the problem for one variable in one template but not on other variables in that same template. Is this a known bug? Is there a reliable workaround? Seems like such a basic feature...

I cannot get sent/recieved emails synced with zoho mail under the "email" section of the contact card- When i send mail directly from the contact, this gets registered on the contact details, but either the reply, or other mails from the same contact stored under e-mail shows up under the "contact emails"- i have tried with several different email adresses associated with our account- but i cannot get it to work: what do i do?

I'm still try to add contact person of company and it's still doesn't work. After I added new contact it is not visible in the right place. I see this contact person in different section but I can't see it here. Please fix it or write me what I am doing wrong. I test it on Firefox nad Chrome adn problem is still the same.

Due Dates on Invoices
I haven't been able to find out how to include a due date on the printed out version of invoices. Also, it would be nice if you could put in a time frame for invoice due dates. For instance, if I created an invoice on April 1st and I wanted the due date to be 10 days after the creation of an invoice, the system would automatically put in April 11th for the due date which would print out on the invoice. Hi Looking for Help. If we convert a Lead in Zoho CRM so we have a opportunity/potential on this then by default it creates an Account on the system. However if we want the CRM to manage information on our current customer base where would we keep the base information. Not sure if I want it all merged under accounts as this could be confusing. Send email - attach from CRM documents
We are using the send mail feature of Zoho CRM directly from the lead. When you click on Attach - Documents the default featuer is to list 10 last documents instead of displaying default folder structure. Is there any way to change that? Also, from the attach screen, you cannot right click any of the files to open them so sometimes if you are not sure what you are attaching, you would have to jump out and open the file file within the CRM main menu and then come back to attach. Problem with "closed" user
Hi there, I've got a problem with one of our User accounts in the zoho CRM. The User has the status "closed" and email-address states: "user does not exist". The problem is, that the user counts against the total for active users. Is there any way to reactivate this user with the existing email adress? Task Templates removed in new zoho?
I'm trying to create task templates. So when a user adds a new task, they have the option to use a predefined template which automatically inserts fields into the subject and body of the task email that is sent out to the task owner or assigned owner. Google shows this is possible but the sections in the tutorials do not appear to be in Zoho anymore. Was this moved or removed?

there is no ability to modify the age (creation date) of potentials. this is required in order to keep track on the age of opportunities when importing from external source
How do you change the fields available under Contacts when in an Account View ?
Would like to know how to change add/delete fields that are visible when looking at a contact under an Account view? The current fields are: Contact Name Email Phone Mobile Fax and would like to change them to delete "Fax" field and add "Title" also would be great to know how to re-arrange the order if possible as well......
