Mapping
I've created a new custom field the Customer tab. I want this data to be in the associated (or mapped) with the contact in the Contact tab also. Do I create another custom field in contacts? If so, how do I map them? Bob
What good is a CRM app that doesnt automate a series of events???
Ok so I have been tweaking and custimizing the CRM app - that has no email client integration for one. [arrrrrrrgh...] Additionally, the whole purpose of a CRM app to me is its ability to automatically trigger events, tasks, emails and other such activities in a Pre Programmed sequence - based upon rules and triggers. Mailing Address between Accounts and Contacts
Hi there, Im loving ZohoCRM and can see it definatly being used within my organisation. I have a little problems which I would love some help with. I have added custom fields for mailing address to suit New Zealand. I have added them for contacts and accounts. im trying to eval this product but cannot for the life of me find anywhere where email accounts can be setup, or checked and sent from... am i missing something? if it doesnt have such a facility then, frankly, i dont see the purpose of this CRM. i hope that im missing this feature somehow. can someone please advise me as i havent been able to find instructions via help or these forums. external email plugins etc arent an option- especially msoutlook. thanks, tim
Cant get a zip code field for a customer?
I'm sure I'm missing it, but I dont see a way to get a zip code field for a customer. What am I misssing? I tried to add the field under setup, but it's not listed. Any thoughts??
Zoho CRM plugin blows my Outlook up
Hi all, I'm a brand new Zoho software user and today I've installed Zoho CRM plugin to Outlook. The installation went without problems, the taskbar is visible. But when I try to enter 'Preferences' from the 'Zoho CRM' menu, the Outlook crashes and asks if I want to send details to MS. ;) Can you support me with any ideas what the purpose of such a problem can be? Does it matter that I have Polish version of MS Office, not English? I will appreciate any help. Thanks a lot! Rafal
Editable Field Layout in Reports
One feature that drives me nuts is that the reporting feature in ZCRM is really no different than an excel spreadsheet. Yes it will output data, but the thing that I have trouble with in Excel is having 40 columns of data and needing to print...it all must go on one line. It would be great if ZCRM would allow us to create customizable reports such that we could have multiple fields stacked vertically instead of all lined up in columns. translation error
At the left panel (where the "world clock" is), the first feature is SEARCH. This is correctly translated into "Buscar". However right behind that, there is the original text "Search layout" UNTRANSLATED to Spanish. Generally speaking, there are several small translation glitches like that in the Spanish version of ZohoCRM; my question is, how can we report that to Zoho? By email? By this forum (bugs section)? Or maybe the users could actively (voluntarily) help the translation team?
Skandinavian Character set gets corrupted during import
I have an issue with the Skandinavian character set (������). I can�t get them imported right. Any idea how I should: - save the CSV file in order have the character appear right in the fields they are imported (Accounts & Contacts) and/or - use a trick to import them right My original is a Excel 2007 file, which I save as CSV file. SHARED LAYOUTS
As an administrator having created component layouts for the home page how do I make it so that all standard users see exactly the same components and layouts? Also how do I stop non administrators modifying layouts? GRAHAM

Changing the "Zoho CRM ID:" of the initial Adminis
It would be good to be able to change the Zoho CRM ID of the person that initially created the CRM account. The reason is that we would like to be able to set up a Zoho CRM on behalf of a client (we are Zoho Resellers), do all the necessary tweaks and changes, then hand it over to them, once we are all happy that it does what they want. I have mapped several fields between accounts, contacts and leads (among others) - I need all mapped fields to show the same data. Please tell me when you guys will be doing this as it is causing me much problems trying to work with my data.

Attachments corrupt
I use file attachments with the quotes and the commands. Unfortunately, some files are corrupt few hours after being uploaded. And I confirm that they were correct just after the upload. Seems to be an hosting problem ?

Must Have List Price as Report Choice
I'm trying to put together sales reports that show summaries by product and invoice dates. The unit price is not working as this is a constant price for each product. We sell our products at various price levels, and this is always the "list price" on the invoice. It really seems like you have this backward, as the list price should be what the product would normally sell for, and the unit price is what is actually charged. I just need to get the unit price as a selection for reports. I cannot provide

Creating custom inventory template for quotes
Hi guys! I am working to adjust a quote template so it would fit my needs. When I create a quote, I am adding discounts on each individual product. In the quote template that I am working with I can't seem to find the code for showing to total price before discount and also the total discount given. Cannot add a custom field to order lines
Hello and best compliments for this great software application! I am almost set with basic configuration for orders, but would like to add a custom field to the order line, just imagine a free additional description or a comment that will differ from item to item. I cannot add a custom field, since it will only show at "header" level. example product XXX qty 10 price 10 total 100 description "special colours" product YYY qty 1 price 100 total 100 description "special offer" Any clue on this? When creating products, I have noticed that there is no possibility to apply a percentage rate over the final price (Unit price). I bought 100 leads or so from a database and I need to upload those leads and their corresponding products (properties in my case). How do I do this without having to import all the leads manually then creating 100 different relationships to 100 different properties manually? Thanks.

Sales Order - unable to have the Description printed out
I have changed the tab name of Sales Order to "Work Order" so that our service business has a process for the field technicians to do their work. I am looking to E-mail a pdf or print off the order but the description information is missing even though it is required that I put something in the field. Hi I have used ACT! CRM for about 10 years and probably got into lots of bad habits with it. I am evaluating the Zoho CRM but struggling a little with applying the way I work with the Zoho system. "Loading" continuosly
When I click on "Leads" or "Accounts" from my home page it brings up my leads page but the "Loading" icon continues to run and when I click on a lead I get a blank lead page. I'm running IE7 and this is a new issue which just started this week. As far as I know I have made no changes that would have caused this. The same thing happens on another computer in our office with a different log in.

Change Contact fields that are shown in Account Details
When I am at the "Account Details", I can see below its �Attachments�, �Potentials�, �Contacts�, etc. However, in the �Contacts�, I would like to see some other information about the contacts. Time Change Problem...

Email template not showing complete data when sent
I have created an email template and all the html code is pasted into the body of the template and saved there. However, when I send the email template only about 2 thirds of the content gets received in the email - the rest is just cut off??
