How to search contact description and export?
Haven't really used Zoho in a long time, but I'm trying to do something that used to be fairly simple but I can't figure out how to do it in the new UI. I want to get a list that I can export of all contacts where the description contains a keyword. A few options I've tried, from easiest to hardest. 1) A global search finds all the contacts with that word (great!), but I can only view 10 contacts at a time and no way to export all the contacts matching the search (bad!) 2) Go to the contacts module
Can't create new contact or account
Please note we have downgraded to the free edition of Zoho CRM. Right now we can't add new contact and accounts. Could you explain why? Do we have too many records? Evgeny Drokov
Outgoing Server Error while trying to integrate Zoho and Gmail
I have enabled POP on my gmail account and used these settings in Zoho from this page: https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/zoho-mail/configure-gmail-account.html And keep getting this error: Please enter a valid Outgoing Server. Import Note Module file
Hi team! For a client of mine I transferred some records from Account Module to Lead Module by an export-import operation. Some of these ex Accounts was linked with Notes. I analized the laest backup files (Account, Contact, Note) but I didn't understand how Note data are correlated with Account data: I thougth that Parent ID data in Note file could be present in Account data, but it's not so. I'd like to know how data are correlated between Note and Account in order to modify the Account codes

Plugin CRM for Outlook does not appear

Copying a Lead to a new Custom Module (version that doesn't delete the previous lead)
Hello Zoho Forum, I received a response earlier today regarding the use of deluge script to copy a record from the Leads module and enter it into a custom module. Unfortunately, it did neither and instead, deleted the record in the Leads module. Thankfully it was only sent to the recycle bin, so I was able to recover it. Use Workflow to select a layout
Hi there. I have a situation where based on the value of a picklist, I want to set they layout for a contact. I know I can't do this directly in zoho (which is bizarre), and I know I can't use layout rules to hide related lists (equally bizarre). Copying a Lead to a new Custom Module
Hi there, I found a deluge script in this forum from another user who wanted to take a lead and move that lead to a custom module. However, the user wanted to list the copied lead as a dead lead. We do not want to do that. I have edited the deluge script to match our needs more or less, I think. However, when I "Save & Execute Script" the compiler finds an error on line 3. API Access for SAML-Authenticated Connected Application
Is there a way to automatically generate an API token for a user when they authenticate against a connected application? It seems like very bad UX to have an extension get installed, the user to authenticate using SAML, then have to go back and create an API token so my app can access their data. My application needs to process data server-side so the API is getting called from the server, not through the client SDK. Is there a better way to approach this?

Hi, how do I set a view under contacts to show only customers? Defining customers the Contacts with an associated Potential with stage closed-won. Knowing what was modified? and/or setting a date field with a multiple selection field.
In Opportunities, my company has created a multiple selection field called "Steps Taken." The user selects all of the options that apply and save. I want to know the date each of these selections was added. Is that possible? The API can tell me when something was modified, but I don't see where it tells me WHAT was modified. -M.Epler PS - if it is not feasible to get the date or know what was modified, how might we design this field better in our CRM to capture that data? How to manually dial out from Zoho Support using Twilio
I have integrated my Twilio number and built the IVR and tested and works fine receiving calls. I am also able to dial out to any account I have intergrated via my CRM using the green telephone button. My question is - how would I dial a new number that isnt part of the CRM database? So is it possible to show a keypad of numbers to manually dial out to a number? (I do not want to have to create a contact to do this due to fast paced nature of my service environment) Many thanks M

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a link or button to re-run a workflow on a particular record. A) Would be handy for debugging B) Sometimes my workflows fail due to an integrity error within my data. I have a report that returns me the contacts for whom my email campaign bounced. So "Campaign status = bounced". Of course, when I update that person's email address, they still appear on the report because "bounced" was the value at the time. Google Calendar issue
Hi, Having an issue with our calendar sync (I think). We keep getting duplicate events within Zoho CRM. Additionally, we will see that these events are showing created by Person B - when in reality they were created by Person A in Zoho.
