Why does Zoho adopt such archaic limitations on Export criteria?
I have been trying to overcome the ridiculously limited capabilities to export leads within Zoho CRM. Zoho limits export from the data base to the first 3000 records. Why 3000 records? Why the first 3000 records? The data file sizes are generally relatively small. Why would anyone choose to export the first 3000 records of a larger file without the benefit of a selection process? Even CRM applications in the 90's never dreamt of such an arbitrarily useless approach to exporting data. Moving on

Hello there, I'm currently using the Professional account in Zoho CRM and I'm trying to figure out the permissions and access to data. I've read almost everything in regards to this but I still get confused by who can access what information in Zoho. So let's say that a CEO (Admin) and a Manager (Admin) wants to share only certain contacts/data with some of their subordinates, how can I achieve that in a Professional Account? import problems with closing date format
I exported all the potentials to a spreadsheet from Zoho, made changes to certain fields and now on trying to import.... nothing will be accepted due to the closing date format. I did not change anything in this field! All other date fields are being accepted as eg shown: 2014-07-25 This is in the same format as was exported so why is there this bug? I cannot change the format in open office to being dd/mm/yyyy... it just stays the same when I try to format the cells? i don't want to have to individually
Can't delete notes on sales account profile
Hi there, One of my users can't delete notes on one of his sales account, even if he belongs to a profile with the permission to delete notes. I've double checked under the Users & permission tab. He has no trouble with delete the whole sales account, but when he press delete note he gets the following error message: "Insufficient Privileges to perform this operation. Contact your Administrator." What do I have to do to give him permission rights to delete notes? Please help! Best Regards, Emma

Adding Contacts to Potentials
Is there a way to add/link specific Contacts to specific Potentials? I can utilize the contacts feature in Accounts, but is there a way to link those and add to on specific potentials? I work with home builders, architects...etc. They are my Accounts, but when there is a potential, we may get introduced to a homeowner and we want to track their contact info in relation to that potential. Hi On the home screen of Zoho CRM with all the little icons, there is a lot of tabs not present. Things like sales orders, invoice, Activities are not present! Is it because its displaying on a tablet or has it not been developed for these devices?
Issue creating Potentials records using Zoho API

Hi all. I'm creating a web form, from the Contact module. In the Contact layout I have made a custorm "look up field". Now when creating the web form, the look up field is not an option to drag into the web form. All the other fields are there, except the look up field ? However the results I get from these APIs is different in count then when I view it on the Zoho CRM applying the same filters ! . For Eg A query of trial start date = current month & lead status doesn't contain blowout gives output as 35 in API run query and 24 in Zoho CRM view when I apply this as a filter. Gmail integration Attaching internal emails - no summary of communication
We have configured the email Gmail integration. Couple of issues: We have excluded our internal domain so that internal emails are not attached as it is explained. Everyone's internal emails are connecting to the individuals contact record. If the exclusion domain is set, why is this happening?? Not being able to see a summary view of the email communication is a waste. I am facing difficulties to create the following similar reports: Average Order (Invoice) Value by Territory Total (SUM or Value of all Invoices) Invoices by Territory Monthly sales by Category (this is a Territory field) All the above three reports are directly related to the Territory. Please note that my clients does not use Potentials module. To create the 3 reports - I have tried to make roll-up-summary of Grand Total in Invoices module and store those values in Accounts and Contacts module.

Users not really deleted and Email Invitations not working
Not a subscription issue: We pay for 8 subscriptions. We have 1 admin + 4 real users + 1 test user, making 6 used subscriptions. Not an email issue on our end: I have checked the server logs, I can see previous invite emails, but no emails received since having my second problem. Problems: I recently tested functionality, creating two test accounts. During this time, we had 7 subs used. After testing, I deleted the two accounts.
