Change Standard Font
Is it possible to change the standard font type when sending an email in Zoho CRM. It differs from my signature font type.
Lead distribution
I need to be able to forward new leads (captured from a web form) to independent sales firms who will not be users on the system. How can this be done? If so, how? Also, can a follow-up survey be send to the same independent firm to rate the lead and add their responses to the lead record?
Creating a multi line quote template using HTML
Hi Not sure which forum this belongs to so perhaps i can post here and some one can point in the right direction. I am trying to create a template similar to the default quote template but im having issues with picking up multi line quotes as in the default quote template you can put multiple products in then generate the quote (export to PDF) which generates a multi line quote which lists out the products. Im wondering if some one can point out the code used to enable me to do this in the new template
Categorizing clents
Is there a simple way to put my clients into different categories? I want to make it easier to search for a specific group of clients at one time.
Not all Contacts are being exported.
We regularly export all our emails for a newsletter that we send out. Obviously, we are particularly interested in emails form new inbound potential clients. In perparing next month's newsletter, we have noticed that any contact's emails, where we have sent that particulat client a quote, is not being exported. Can I have some guidance as what may be causing this problem?
Zoho & Outlook ??
Why is it that when I click on the email of a contact it takes me directly to Outlook (which I like), and when I click on the "Whom to deal with" business card email (on the right side) in a potential it takes me to ZOHO's cheesy email program? Also quotes default to the ZOHO email program. I would like to default to Outlook in both cases - how do I that? Thanks!

Reseting an administrator account to reconnect with googleapps
I had zoho crm connecting fine with my googleapps account. We then had advice to add zoho from google marketplace to enable gmail connectivity. The Add from google marketplace seems to have disconnected the link with zoho. When i go in zoho crm to setup, google apps the screen just is blank saying "loading" and it does not resolve. If i add a new user then goto setup, google apps then it says it needs google to grant access. How do i reset the adminstrator account to recognise and ask to grant access
Auto Generation of field values
We are familiar with doing auto generation in drop down fields in Zoho Creator using Deluge Scripting. We need to perform similar functionality in Zoho CRM. As an example, we need to do the following two tasks -- 1. In "Quote Module" page, We’d like to have the SUBJECT of the Quote get Auto Generated based on the following naming scheme: “Account Name – (Date) – (No. of quotes that day for this account) ". 2. Sync Changes between Account & Contact
I think it would be nice to see the option to make a change in the Account information, and be able to push that change to all of the contacts associated with that Account. For example, address changes, or industry type. However, it would be most beneficial if this synchronized changed could be an "opt" in change where the user could decide whether to push the change to all the associated contacts or not on a case by case basis. zoho crm sucks
We installed the free version of zoho crm to replace google spreadsheet forms for a contact page. Note that the free version of web2leads in zoho apparently *does not* support notifying lead owners automatically. We thought it did because we could choose an email template. However this was a notification to the user, not the lead owner. As a result, our tests would generate an email but no other leads would notify us. So basically we lost over a months worth of leads. This is complete BS lead notification
Web-to-contact form notifications are in late or lost.
Hi there, I activated the feature Web-to-contact to my website, but the contact owner doesn't get the notifications instantly. He gets them all together at a certain time. What is the reason why this happens? Is there a way to get the notifications instantly? Then sometimes some contacts have been lost and the customers called us to complain that they sent a request, but they have not been answered. Hi, I'm thinking about setting up my business on Zoho CRM I don't really need all of the functionality seperation of leads, contacts, accounts. I sell to individuals so don't need that granularity. It looks to me like I only want to use the contacts field as that has the most relevant fields. However when it comes to other parts of tracking sales then an account is required. Date without Time format
Hi - Zoho CRM is becoming a valuable tool for us! I am writing about the Date Time format. I need a Date format without the time. I realize a workaround has been suggested, to use "Datepart(${Quotes.Created Time}) " Or something to this effect. However, we have a dataset that has been using Adddate(${Contacts.Trial Start Date},15,'DAY'). So I'm reluctant to try a different formula in the same field. Associating Cases to Accounts

We are considering Zoho CRM but to work for my company the CRM system would need significant customization, adding a number of new tables, relating fields in the new tables keys in default tables and to keys in other new tables. Hello, our business requires an annual subscription for our software, and we need to be notified each year of an expiry date so we can send automatic emails, and also chase up. Alerts suddenly stopped working
We have an alert set up (workflow rule) that notifies the Lead Owner via email whenever a new lead comes in. This alert has suddenly stopped working, but still shows as "active" on the list. I have looked through the settings and can't see that anything has changed, however, if I go to re-create the rule I can't now see how to identify the Lead Owner as being the recipient of the alert. Time stamp in account section
I wanted to know if there is a way to edit the time stamp when entering information to the Note section of a contact?? I want to go through and log say my last five calls but it will auto date stamp them as the date entered. If anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Brett

Tracking support
My company sells Years 2-5 support beyond Year 1 which is included in the purchase price. How can we track how many years each account has left of support when they call in to ask questions? Also, can we be alerted if their support will be ending soon so that we can contact them to see if they would like to extend the support that we offer?

Updating an Organization Field when Opportunity is "Closed Won"
When selecting "Closed Won" for a current Opportunity, I would like ZOHO to automatically update a custom field in the Organization section called "Client Status". We sell software so the goal is to automatically change the clients status based upon an opportunity closing. I can't seem to figure a way to do this. Any suggestions?
Associating Cases with Potentials
Our company uses Cases to manage complex tasks related to Potentials. However, we've found it impossible to associate Cases with Potentials, such that the Cases show up on Potentials' pages. Are we missing something? How do we get Cases to associate with Potentials?
How can I include a second page with a sales quote template?
I need to create a page break somehow and have a separate "Terms and Condition" page become a part of my quote template. I have found posts on this board where people provided code to force a page break, but I can not get it to work. I have read where you can set up automatic page numbers, those would always be at the bottom of a page so there has to be a way to do this. I can't figure out how to get the terms and conditions page to be a part of the template. The info has to remain together.

How to best track lead conversions?
Hi, I hope someone can help. Currently, all potential leads (cold & warm) remain leads until they actually purchase something from us. Then when they've purchased, they are converted from Lead to Account and a Sales Order is created. We do not use Potentials...I don't understand how they work. I would like to be able to track how many leads we have and how many are converted to accounts in a period. Is my best bet to use Potentials and Campaigns, or use Status, and then use Pulse to track the Status
Deactivate User/Creator
Hi, I set up the CRM for an account as part of a consulting job. They are up and running now, and no longer need me as a paid active user. I have tried to deactivate my account by logging in with my credentials and by logging in as the other paid user. The deactivate checkbox has not been available via either method. Please help.
