Macro only in Contacts - what about other tabs?
Would love to see the "Run a Macro" option for other fields, other than Contacts. Most specifically, under Quotes and Invoices, since the majority of our functions are derived from these tabs.

To get into the CRM I find that I have to login at the zoho.com page and then click the crm button and then wait while the software redirects me. Is there a login page directly into the crm application?

hyperlinks in text fields / text areas
Instead of plain text I also want to add hyperlinks to webpages, just any kind of URL, for example in lead notes I can do so but the hyperlink text is not decorated at all, now underline, now specific coloring, nothing. I have to manually recognize the string as a hyperlink, explicitly select the entire string, right-click and then chosse "go to ..." (this URL). That's pretty clumsy. Is there no easier way of inserting true hyperlinks, like in (m)any other applications?
Email template sender
Hi there, I am using the Mail add-in and Email templates to send an email to a contact via the "Send email" link in the contact page. There are users "service" and "joe". I am logged in as "service" (cannot log in as "joe") but want the email being sent from user "joe". I have also specified in the email template that it should send it out from user "joe". The email gets send out fine but the sender the email recipient sees "joe@mydomain.com". I want it to show "Joe Doe <joe@mydomain>" instead. The

Merging Lead Data into Newly Created Lead Field
I currently have too many options for my "industry" field under my Leads, and want to condense it down. I want to be able to merge my previous industry options into my new industry options, so that I do not have to manually update all of the industries for every single lead. I've been told this is possible but cannot figure out how.

Learning how to use Zoho
I have been using Zoho for about 5 months now. The challenge I have is that I don't think I using it to its full capabilities. Is there one place I can go that will teach me how to use the product and it features. Most of the videos that I have found tend to be more salezy tell me what it can do but not how to do it. I feel that I'm wasting a lot of time searching on how to do things. Plus it could be doing a lot more for me but "I don't know what I don't know". Any Suggestions?
Is anyone working with multiple organizations?
I own an LLC that has two different DBA's associated with it. There is some crossover between clients from Company A to Company B, and vice versa. I am curious if anyone else is in this situation. Importing Contacts; is an Account created automatically or do I need to create the Account first?
I'd like to import all the our Contacts, some of which are associated with an Account. Do I need to establish the Accounts first, and will Zoho somehow match those Accounts with the Contacts, or will Zoho create an Account if I state an account name while importing? On a similar note, what's the difference between importing as; Import My Contacts Import My Organization Contacts I'm assuming that I should import all my Contacts as 'my organization contacts' (even those that don't have an account)

LEADS MODULE: Handling Leads with Chains
How do you input leads that are part of Chains so that you can group them under the overall Chain? It's easy to do under ACCOUNTS, but what about LEADS? For example: I have leads for 15 convenience stores in a state and it turns out that 6 are owned by the same parent company. I want to enter all the leads so I can track activities with each location as well as the home office. Ideally, this would create ACCOUNT - SUBACCOUNTS when the lead moves from LEADS to ACCOUNTS so we don't have to reconnect
Mails from removed users from Zoho still available in Zoho CRM?
Before I remove a user within Zoho Mail I want to know if the emails are still visible in Zoho CRM? Has someone experience with this?
CRM w/ Google Apps Integration
We've integrated our google apps business account with the CRM so that when I send emails through the CRM it comes from my work email. After sending the email it shows under a contact's profile in the Email section as "sent". However, how do I document a received email? It looks like it doesn't automatically populate in the same section area as "received". Also, I don't see a way to manually add an email. Am I missing something? TIA!
Custom field
I would like to create a custom field that appears in Leads, Contacts, Potentials and Accounts. When the field data is changed or updated in one of four areas areas it updates all of the others as well. Is that possible?
Activities not being recorded
Hello, I noticed since today that activities (both tasks and even email templates) do not appear in a Contact's history anymore. Is this a system-wide issue? I've tried logging out / in, refreshing etc. Kenneth
Setting up email alert on Cases
I want to setup a workflow alert to send an email to the customer on a case so they get an email when the case is created or updated. I don't see a way to select the Related To as a recipient for the alerts. Help!
Customization settings not being updated in Add Account
Hello, Changes I amke in customized are not "sticking" when i try to add contacts. for example, i chnaged the "industry" settings to the below: but if i try to add account it has the old drop down list. this is quite frustrating. i have logged out of zoho, and chrome multiple times and every time i log back in, this is not being pickd up, though the settings have stuck in the customized settings link. can this please be fixed asap? thanks, james
Price book list price
Hi guys, I have searched the forum and help pages, but did not find any information with regard to the following: I am looking for a method to bulk update list prices in a particular price book. With the knowledge available to me at this point, it is only possible to manually enter the list prices per product, instead of performing an update through for example an excel sheet. Copy Address from Account to Individual (and back)
Cool feature you already have - copying an address from "mailing" to "other" in the Individual or Account detail views. Also when a new individual is created under an Account, the contact info translates to the new individual fields. How about a button which drags contact information (at least address information) from the Account file into the Individual file and vice versa? Copying phone numbers around wouldn't be bad either.

hello, under contacts in the account edit page, you see email, fax etc... is there a way of changing this? i want email, phone number and job title ideally, dont care about fax. Web to Lead Form Troubleshoot
I am using the free version of Zoho to check out how the functionality works, and there appears to be a slight hang up on the web-to-lead form functionality. the page I'm working on is http://beta.eduglobalstudies.com/?page_id=40. Hi I am trying to separate all my contacts that I have not yet had any email communication with. I tried to filter by "send on" but it never finishes generating the contact list. Open Activities
I wish the activities were more detailed. It doesn't make any sense or help me at all when I click on the activities tab to see what open activities I have and it provides a list of the open activities but does not give any detail as to what potential the activity belongs to. Therefore this features does me no good if I am unable to complete tasks specific to an account I am working on.

Is it possible to link a custom between Accounts and Invoice form?
I've created a new custom field ("New-Field") on the New Accounts form, now I want to link this field to the same field on the New Invoice form. I.e. after I lookup the account name on the invoice form it should automatically fill up the "New-Field" on the invoice form. Right now Zoho CRM only auto-fills up the address fields based on the account lookup - is it possible to make it fill up a custom field?

Tasks and Call List Issues
I want to be able to see a current list of Tasks and Calls! When I've completed a task why does it not put the task into a completed folder? It stays there until you delete it but then there is no record of the task? At the moment all the tasks, activities and calls are just in a big jumbled list that is hard to sort. Workflow and approving leads
Hi I have a web capture form set up to invoke the approval functionality. I also have a workflow set up to send an initial email. However what happens is that the workflow is invoked before the lead is approved. This is clearly wrong as you would not want an email sent to a lead that is not approved. It also appears to be showing the incorrect time? it is 22.22 in the uk but the emails are being shown as sent 02:47 am ? This changed when I registered with the support portal? Anything obvious I am
Validation iin CRM Webforms causes problem
I am using a set of javacripts I found on Java-Script Coder to implement some clien-side validation. The validation error message display fine and they prevent the form submission however when I do submit the form the process fails. The leads are not posted to zoho and my success page is not shown. All I see is a blank webpage.with the address at the top being https://crm.zoho.com/crm/WebToLeadForm Any ideas?
Workflows not triggering from quick edit option in new UI
Hi I have most of my workflows rigged up to run when a stage from a picklist alters. My workflows work when I go to into the full global "edit" screen, but the new quick edit options on the potential overview page does not trigger workflows. I spoke to support on the phone the other day and they said Zoho are aware of this. My problem is if my staff member takes the "lazy option", critical workflows get missed. Support's suggestion was to ensure that a record is edited in full edit mode only.
