Assign Existing Lead to Campaign
ZOHO CRM seems to operate on the premise that leads are generated BY campaigns. I have a different approach. For me a lead is a "suspect" someone I think might be a possible client in future. I gather these leads in various ways, research, lateral thinking etc... I enter them in CRM as leads and later I want to run Campaigns in which I will target some or all of these leads by sending them marketing literature etc... by email or direct mail or perhaps just a phone call. How do I select my accounts/leads and add to an existing campaign?
Hi, I have worked with other CRM´s before and I could do: open/start new campaign (example "Christmas cards 2010") add my contacts/leads by selecting to this campaign check it by viewing each contact/lead that they were add to the campaign (in Zoho would be displayed under contact, like note, email, activities etc.) In Zoho, I can not do that, or? Add source to multiple leads
Hello, A requirement has come up where we need to make use of the campaign feature. As it stands we imported 700-800 leads however now we need to attach a campaign to these leads. Is there a simple way of doing this without having to go through each individual lead and adding the campaign? Many thanks! Dave
Enchance Campaigns
Not too happy with how Campains work. I should be able to create a campaing, and attach marketing assest which are created and uploaded to the crm system. Then throught campaigns attach leads, prospects, accounts. Currently I have to go to each (lead, prospect, account) and attach to the campaing. It seems that the relationship linking is backwards. I create a campain and then choose who / what I want to participate.
Multiple Campaign Sources per Lead
Is it possible to associate a lead to multiple campaign sources for tracking? Specifically, this example: - An e-mail blast (Campaign 1) is conducted. Lead A replies to e-mail blast, is created in the system and associated to Campaign 1. - A second e-mail blast is sent (Campaign 2). Lead A replies to this e-mail blast as well. DigiSign in Documents, How about CRM???
All, I really like that you have EchoSign associated with your Zoho docs. It sure would be helpful to have a digisign button on CRM Sales orders or quotes. I use a custom Sales Order template that I have clients sign and fax back to me. This would be a huge advantage if I could quickly send the sales order confirmation document via EchoSign. This would help in a big way by turning sales around faster. Would this be possible? Just a thought. Thanks
Customizing for Service Industry
I would like to know if Zoho CRM can be customized for the service industry. We do not have any products. We provide services on lumpsum basis. Each of our projects has a lumpsum amount and in some cases, a Change Order associated with the same project. Is it possible to customize this to a service industry?
Associating campaigns with EXISTING leads
From what I can see right now, we can not link existing leads to a campaign. We can create new leads inside a campaign. I hope that I am wrong, but if this were to be the case, it is clear that this feature is worth adding ( in fact we believe that this is a must have feature). Zoho web2lead Form Problems
I am trying to integrate the web2form into Joomla. I am using the plugin from Blue Flame. The problem I am having is the Zoho form fields use "First Name" and "Last Name" and due to the way the plugin handles the fields - cannot have a space - I am not able to get those form fields to parse and submit to Zoho. All other fields are working and submitting data to zoho except for those two. My developers and the Blue Flame are telling me that I need to change the form fields in order for it to
spacing issue in web-to-lead form in Joomla when viewed in different browsers
I am having a frustrating issue when trying to embed zoho crm web to lead code in to a web for on a Joomla website. The code inserts the data the to the crm without any issues, but the format of the form - spacing between fields and field alignment - looks very different between Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE. The main issue is with IE, there are unexplained large spaces between some fields in the form. Does anyone have any experience with this and how to fix it?
BPO ~ Sales Appointment Scheduling referral
I'm looking to outsource our company's sales appointment setting practice i.e., BPO Sales Appointment Scheduling. Cannot create a new report
I am trying to create a new report. I can input all of the requirements. When I click on the "Save" button I am prompted for a name and report information. When I enter that information and click save I get a blank screen with the url https://crm.zoho.com/crm/CustomReport.do. I cannot load the report. When I go to the main ZCRM screen and then navigate to the Reports tab and select the report I just created it showsno data. I click on customize and all of the parameters I set for the report are gone.
Can Zoho do it all?
I am on a Mac platform. I am currently using: - Salesforce.com as CRM - ConstantContact for email marketing (monthly newsletter to various groups) - Entourage for email - Excel for accounting I would like to use: - Zoho for CRM, email marketing and accounting/invoice - Mac mail for email (able to synchronise with Zoho CRM) Is this possible? Forecast organization wide from individuals
As stated in the Wiki Note: In Zoho CRM, you cannot consolidate the individual sales persons' forecasts and provide the organization-wide forecast. This needs to be fixed, individuals need to roll to the manager/company. Any time line? Thanks -g-

Global Search Issues
In the last week several of our users have reported that the Global Search book in the Tab on the left side of the page is not working properly. When they enter a potential name it is not showing up in the search results at all. Has Zoho changed the Search function in some way?
VAT number field for new accounts.

contact owner - select from group?
if i have users divided into groups (sales territory)...when i enter a new lead and want to assign a USER to that lead, is there a way to see only USERS of a particluar group in the "LEAD OWNER" lookup field? (so i dont have to see ALL the users, just users in a particular group)
Linking email
If I open a record in detail view and click on the email link, it opens Outlook. I can then send the message, but there is no record of that email logged in the contact detail. Is there a way to link the emails to the contact detail? Thanks. Bob Leeds
color Identifier for Events & Tasks displaying in Calendar.
Could we have the option to select from a list of colours or icons OR BOTH (maybe make it customizable) that can be selcted to identify an event in a calendar quickly as one thing or another? For example my calendar has a lot of bookings for childrens parties that do not require a balloonist. If i could colour them i could at a glance identify which are bookings that need a balloonist or a clown or are for a body artist or magician for example. 2011 ZCRM Roadmap?
Today I went back and looked at the current posting of the ZCRM "Roadmap" to see what features and upgrades are on the horizon. The good news is that almost everything that was on the "original" roadmap has been addressed. After the updates posted on April 1 and April 7 only a handful of items remain open. ( you might want to update the road map to reflect the recent updates too) The Disappointing thing was that nothing has been added to the roadmap as Zoho has chipped away at the list of improvements.

Email the contacts in invoices
As there is no possibility to create email templates using fields from invoices module, is there any chance we could have the option to send mass emails from the 'All Invoices' view (AND CREATE CUSTOM VIEWS) as you can with contacts. This would of course have to use the contact field (in the invoices module) the same way that it does for sending the invoice itself but on a mass scale. Eg. I would like to be able to send the same message to several customers all at once, who have bookings with us.
CRM mass email - related fields
Hello, When I'm sending mass e-mail to my contact list it would be excellent to relate contact data with quotes, potentials or some other module data. In that way all contacts could receive highly personalized e-mails with product info they've bought, price, date of purchase... Is something like this going to be implemented in near future? Now I must export desired data through CRM report module to CSV, and import it to external mass e-mail service (Campaign Monitor) to have that level of e-mail
Scheduling or allocating calls for other users
Should be able to allocate a scheduled call to another user, the same as allocating an "Event" to another user.
Sorting contacts by latest Call
I want to regularly work my Contact list so I reach out periodically to all my contacts. Can I run a report that sorts my contacts from oldest- to most-recent Call? Can something similar be done for Emails?

Formula Field does not work with basic operator
I can't seem to find anything relating to this in the documentation or in the forum for what I thought would be a pretty basic function... Even an example in the documentation would have helped.... I never used CRM software before, maybe I'm missing something here. I want to enter all my clients into Zoho CRM, manually. Since they're all companies, I use 'new account'. For Account name, I use the company name of my client. I also need to put in the first/last name of the owner + his email address. Applying discount rates for specific customers
I am interested in using the Pricebooks section as you can apply discount rules to products. The problem is that you can only apply rules based on quantity of order and not to specific customers. I have customers that get a certain discount on products no matter how much they order. Is it possible to group these customers so that everytime they get a quote, the discount will be reflected for them? David
How to generate reports that include Notes information
I use a telemarketing company which does not have access to my instance of Zoho and are not interested in getting it. Therefore I need to extract information from Zoho in the form of a report about leads I need them to follow up and send it to them. Extracting contact details is no problem, but I really need to include notes from previous calls to them also. Is there any way the information captured in the Notes can be extracted in a report?
