Please advise how to have the system auto create the purchase orders from sales orders or invoices.
Converting Leads to Contacts
My telemarketing company introduced me to Zoho CRM but loaded our contact list as "Leads" (optimistic thinking on their part?). Now I find it difficult to use Zoho because I want leads to represent only contacts that have expressed an interest in our service. Is there any way to convert all Leads to Contacts? Perhaps export the entire list, delete from list from Leads and then import the list into Leads?

A-Z letter list in the Leads module.
In the Leads tab I'm not able to click on the alphabetical list across the top of the main Leads page and find my leads by last name. I have to click on the letter for their first name to find their lead. Is there a way to configure the leads that will allow me to click on the letter and pull up their last name instead of their first name? Thanks!

Alphanumeric account numbers?
I've been searching for an answer to this but haven't been able to find anything - Is it possible the make account numbers alphanumeric? I am migrating my client list to Zoho and all the existing account numbers are in the format "abc123" and I would rather not have to rename them all. Also, the alpha part makes it easier to remember the client - the alpha part is the first three letters of the account name. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hi all, wondered if you could help. I cant seem to get the sections for description into the invoices. they all show terms and conditions (which is blank as we sign these separately) and no matter what I do I can't seem to get description of goods to show there instead. any ideas?
Help! Deleted User and Now Can't Add Him Back?
I deleted a user in our CRM account by accident... When I go back to add this same user the system says "can't add user because they already exist in system". Does anyone know how to work around this?

I really need some help with the importing of Notes - linking them to the Contact during import. Conditional data entry sections
It would be good if we can have data entry in areas CONDITIONAL on a field, eg boolean field, ie: Does he have a CAR: YES / NO If YES - open this section up: - What model - What colour - ETC IF NO - open this section up: - Why does he not have a car This way we can ask many questions, without clogging the interface too greatly. E-mail template "From"
Most e-mail clients support the display of a full name in the "From" column of one's Inbox, assuming the "From" of the e-mail includes the name as well as the e-mail address. Currently, e-mails sent from ZohoCRM using an e-mail template only include the sender's e-mail address, resulting in a a less than personal display in the recipient's e-mail inbox. It would be nice if you could include the sender's name from the user settings, or, make it optional. Bill Clarke

How do I convert an email to a lead using Zoho mail and CRM
I am trying to use zoho to manage my vacation rental leads. 95% of my leads come in via email from two marketing services. How to only display project related email in the module email section?
for example, i got 10 leads in the leads module, and try to assign all 10 leads to one sales person. All the email in module email section are the same, and come from the same email address, just want to know if we can sort the email by the project name or something else. so we won't be confused by the email from other project or leads.

Contact details - such as Notes, Emails, Activities, etc - should be tabs instead of just a lengthy list that you have to scroll to see. Do you know how I can recall contacts without any emails or notes before a specific date? i.e. to contact leads who have not been contacted within a specified period of time (I know how to do it by date/time modified, but that only works if contact information is updated not an email or note generated). Report of Activities (Calls, emails, etc)
What report would a manager type person run to get a weekly summary of their user's (i.e. sales people) activities with their contacts - including Notes and Emails specifically. e.g. Joe Salesperson has 10 contacts under his account. Limited View access is not enough
We are trying to extend some functionality of our CRM to some business partners who focus on certain product lines. However, limited view access is not enough. I even customized it so that they only have access to job leads. The problem is that they can still use search function, and have access to view all jobs due to default ZoHo views. How can i block search and default job views?
Need First Name in Potential for Emails.
Hi, It's really annoying that you can't use the first name in emails from potentials. At the moment we have to copy the first name in to a field to use it in an email but sometimes my sales people forget and the email goes out with a name on it......... To have something like....${PotentialsFirst Name} would be very beneficial and would mean no need for our work around.... Regards Chris

Profiles... Grey out or hide unavailable options?
Not sure if this is a question or proposed idea? I am setting up new profiles, and one thing that would help is if the Unavailable options in settings was greyed out. This happened before we paid for the licences, unavailable items were greyed out. But if a new profile could not for example edit templates, if that was hidden from them or greyed out as the adninistrator I could see what the various profiles could and could not do? Logged calls not appearing in Potentials Records
Today while logging calls I noticed that the completed calls were not showing up in the Completed Tasks area of the Potentials records. In each case I initiated the call logging from the "log a call" link on the potential record. This is important for us to maintain a record of our communication with people concerning these potentials.
