Freezing database
I want to freeze my users from going in while I do a custom upgrade. Is there a way to lock them without disabling them?
Disallowing contacts associated with accounts, while allowing contacts associated with vendors
I'm new to Zoho, and I'm trying to better understand how to do two things; (a) keep account-associated contacts hidden from peer users, but (b) allow vendor contacts to be seen by everybody. We don't want salespeople to have access to each other's accounts and contacts, but we want to make sure the contacts who are associated with vendors are seen by everyone in the organization, lest data duplication occurs.
Different sets of information
Hi, I am using Zoho CRM and am getting two different sets of information for the same period. For e.g.if I use Dashboard to access the potentials for this quarter, the number that comes out is different when I go to Reports and ask for the same info. Can you find out the problem? Thnaks

Stock management : updates of quantities
Hello, We are having many troubles with Zoho CRM on Stock Management. - We changed some names and added some status to the possible Status of SO and PO. - Now, the stock management has gone crazy. If we create a S.O., it increase the quantity in demand of the product (good). But if the product is in stock, and we create a sales order from stock, it still increases the quantity in demand of the product (bad). Afterwards, when the S.O. is marked as "delivered", the quantity in demand doesnt go

Importing leads from a report into a campaign
I have a report that lists leads based on certain criteria and what I need to do, is to move the listed leads into a campaign. I thought the best way to do this would be to export the report results to CSV, create the campaign and then import the leads from the CSV into the campaign. The only concern I have is that it asks if I want to overwrite/skip/clone, but I am unsure what to select because I don't want affect any existing lead records. Please advise the best way to get the leads in the report

Can I create a report that record the change of owner? The lead might generate from marketing dept and assign to different salesman, and I need a log of these changes.
Search Criteria
Evaluating Zoho for our investment management firm. I don't understand how to create custom searchable fields. For example, we would like to identify some as clients, maybe search and identify by college, hobbies, etc. I assumed this was a basic CRM function. Is it possible in zoho? Hello, I recently signed up with Zoho and have Standard Edition; when I was trying to add custom fields, I realized that I can only have 10 custom fields under this program. I can NOT find how many custom fields I can have in other editions and have looked all over. Can any one tell me how many fields I can have in Professional Edition?

Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition, with Territories enabled: Observed Behavior: Zoho Sheet View ignores any Territory you've chosen, and exports All Opportunities visible for the selected View, such as All Opportunities, or My Opportunities. Expected Behavior: I would think that Zoho Sheet View should only export Opportunities that are visible for BOTH the selected Territory and the selected View, which I would call the Intersection of the selected Territory and the selected View. Workflow and Case modules
HI, We have used the Cases Module in Zoho and modified it to resemble our internal “Trade Record” sheet. The trade record sheet captures all the relevant info for the sale of a property (address, agents, price, fees and commissions etc). Now we would like to integrate an approval process (workflow) into the Trade Record that escalates (emails/notify) for: 1.) Fee Split agreement --- (emails to agents on deal to click approve on the commission they received for the sale--- will be multiple agents)

Bug while Customizing Search Layout
I am trying to add Mpbile phone in the grid when search is performed.Right now in my view I see Lead Name,company,Phone,email and I went to Setup->Cuztomization->Search Layouts->Selected the Module Leads and Clicked Edit and Checked on the Mobile field and clicked Save. But I still donot see the Mobile field in the result grid Am I missing anything or is this a bug in the system? Please help

List view options not updating
I built a custom field and put in about 10 options, well two of them are not showing at the moment. is there a reason for this or something i can do to make sure these are shown.
ZOHO Professional CRM and Mail Hosting via Zoho
I have the Zoho professional with 12 users. I am looking to change my mail hosting service. Do I have to pay extra for Zoho mail hosting for these 12 users? I see Zoho Mail has a charge for over 5-users, but my question is "is this part of Zoho CRM Professional"? Meaning that I could point my email to Zoho and then get those 12 users on at NO additional cost. Thank you in advance.
Not able to re-invite a user
Hi Zoho CRM Support- I created a new user and she had issues logging in so I de-activated the account and re-activiated it, but when I tried to re-invite her I get the error below. She has an account in another Zoho CRM, but not with that email, @corpcrop domain is unique to my company. I looked at the more details but it didn't help, please advise how to fix this. Visibility of FORECAST for users
We cant see forecasts unless in ADMIN even though it's selected as visible for that profile / users any ideas why? Also, can TASKS or EVENTS be made visible just to superiors, currently all or nothing?

Default filters for leads
In potentis under the default view "my potentials"... If a potential stage is set to any of the default "closed" stages, the record is still present in the view. At this stage by Zoho crm own suggestion, isn't this no longer a potential and should not be show up in this view now? I know I can create my own custom filter but just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something obvious here..
Assign Activity Task before lead is approved?
Can you assign an activity task before a lead is approved? I created task and rule when new lead is created to assign a task to the admin (to approve it), but it doesn't trigger until the lead is converted. Any way to do this? It's from a web form and no option within their either.
