importing price books
I am looking for a method to import a price book with contents. Your present import routine will only let me inport multiple empty price books. Seeing that it only takes 3 fields to create an empty price book, this is not a very useful tool. What would be useful would be a tool to import prices into an existing book. I have a number of books with over 200 prices in each. It takes an awful lot of typing and saving to update them. I realize there would be considerable error-checking necessary to ensure

Hello CRM here are a few points of note Why can't the three main groups of 'people' Leads, Accounts and Contacts be interchangable, be similar in layout so that they can be easily be designated under anothers group. A lead can become - A contact and then an account (customer) but the information does not flow accross. I hope i'm making sense. I find it odd that a lead has to have a compulsary 'company' field. Zoho CRM Side Panel Collapsible
It would be great if Zoho CRM could allow the side panel to be collapsible as many times we need full screen to have information available at the screen. Today you can reduce its width manually but reducing it at once would be much greater. Could you please inform if this feature is going to be able in the next update? Cafranky
Account Name
When I create a new sales order when in an account it fills in the address fields but not the Account Name. I have to enter the account name again to get it to show up in the fields. It used to fill automatically when I created a new sales order. It also used to populate the telephone and fax field in the sales order as well, why is it not doing this now? NOT AUTOFILLING FIELDS
I dont wknow why it stopped autofilling fields when you select an account for example, it is not doing it anymore since an hour ago, thabks for now being able to edit the print view, unfortunately the logo isnt updating, also the time in the print view is 5 hours ahead from the one in the orders created, can that be resolved? Wrong time for Toronto
When I display the toronto time zone on the left hand clock it shows me 4:00PM when in fact its 5:00 PM here in Toronto. This is in the CRM product. mduarte

Tasks Problems over and over and ... over again
Hello everybody, I have problems importating my tasks, it just don't work the way it should : i'm still not able to obtain a good way to migrate tasks and events from another crm, I guessed, that for you, during the matching of fields what_id = parent_id = accounts id or = NULL if there is no account linked (directly) to the task and a contact linked to the task who_id = contact_id or = account_id if there is no contact linked to this task The issue is that i'm still getting an error, the tasks appear,
New Version
Thanks for updating the system some of the key changes mentioned in the blog will be useful and helps us to integrate Zoho further into our business. However it also says you would post the entire list of what has been updated but I cannot see this. Autonumber trouble
I've need to use an autonumber so that each of my database entries is individual. I've looked at the ID Zoho uses and it's too big a number for me to use, cos I need to create labels etc using the autonumbers. Is there a code or tool to set up a new autonumber function or something?

Importation and Links
I would like to export my account data at the end of every month and then reimport it after doing some updating of the data through an access data base. (Sales data) I would like to then import it back and have all of the same lines such as contacts etc. In my test when I export and delete the old account information the contacts associated with it are also deleted. Discount on Quotes Not showing
After the new release discounts on the quote which showing perfectly well do not show on the print preview. It creates a strange situation where the quote gives list prices but the total includes discount without them being shown anywhere. Can I customise the quote to show a column with discount amount? Urgent answer would be appreciated.
Variable size product codes
I sell by the my product by the square foot. I would like to enter ______feet x ________feet and the program figures the total square area. For example the invoice would read... 2 each of 3 Widgets 54" x 92" $43.00 each $215.00 total Can or will Zoho be able to do this or how might I set up using your existing tools?

The limit, to import clients is listed as 1000, I think you changed it. I imported 1300. "Please ensure your file contains 1000 or less records."

I would like to export my accounts out of the DB every month and then using an access database update some of the information such as account rep and sales data. When this is completed I woudl like to import the refreashed data and have all of the contact and other associated fields still link up. Can this be done. UK Addresses
Would it be possible to redirect the location of the google map location finder from the 'built in' billing & shipping address to aother fields that I have added (UK style addressing) street, area, town, county, postcode etc I have imported 1000+ records to the new fields and find I cannot use the locator. :D

Currency fields
Not sure if this issue has been addressed. I did not find the answer in a forum search. I am working in the Potentials tab and have set up several currency fields. These fields contain multi-million dollar entries. When I edit the the entire potential (i.e. to change the stage), the currency field will show an abbreviated number (e.g. the field will show up as 2.0E7 instead of $20,000,000). When I attempt to save my stage changes, I receive an error that 2.0E7 is not a valid entry. Is there a way

Importation of Tasks and events
Hello, I'm facing a problem during a migration to import tasks and events from another CRM system (Sugar CRM). In the import field matching page, I have two fields WhoId and WhatId to, apparently, connect the imported task with the related contact and / or account. Scheduling an Event
Something that would be extremely helpful for my employees would be the ability to be able to set the End Time of an Event, not by configuring date and time but by simply having the ability to specify a certain amount of time; ie, X number of minutes, hours or days.
