Mass Change of Field
Is there any way to mass change a data field. For example: I created a custom field called 2007/2008 Account Manager. One of the pick list options is Babette Simanson who is no longer with the company. I want to replace her name with Karie Gritters. What is the most efficient way to do this? Thanks, Al Al Alvares
Cannot Apply Templates to E mails

Incorporate Flexibility to Incorporate Outcomes other than $
I do online marketing for a variety of clients. It would be amazing if Zoho CRM offered the flexibility to track 'other types' of outcomes aside from $$ sales. Things like "review secured", etc. These things do have rough dollar values in exposure but that's not what I track specifically. Thoughts?
Rating Contacts
What if I were able to rate Contacts using stars... similar to how people rate music... and this rating system could be used to sort contacts. Personally I would love this so I could sort people based on how strong my relationship is with them... or how important they are to my business. I guess I could do this by creating new field and creating a multiple choice box... but stars would be so much easier. melvin@volcanicmarketing.
Can't see my potentialities
Hi all, Good job for your project. (However) I have some troubles with the Potentialities function : all is ok when I create a potentiality, but when I want to see the result from the "potentiality" tab / click on potentiality name : all detail fields that I entered are...empty ! The only way to see my potentiality detail is to click on the "print view" link. I use foreign characters cause I'm from France (so sorry for my english) and I use IE7. Second point : do you manage to propose french translation
Time should not be in 2400 time

After hours and hours of researching to find a CRM solution fo a sole proprietorship, I came across your web-based tool. I am not only extremely impressed with its ease of use and excellent user interface, but am floored that it is free to me as a small busineness. I've found that there are not many solutions for sole proprietorships or small businesses for CRM withouth investing your life savings. Web to Lead and Campaign Source
Is it possible to do a web to lead and keep the campaign source? This would be very helpful for different online campaigns.
AJAX Overuse
I don't like the fact that when I do a shift + click on a link, it still opens the link in the current window. This is extremely frustrating. If I have constructed a list I wanted to work, if i click a link, I'm screwed. I will have to go and set up the list. PLEASE remove that AJAX functionality. Just make the links regular links. Slow + Forum Responses
Thanks for your service, I have used it for 3 months. My 6MB internet connection is 20-30 seconds per click. The forum seems like an afterthought, responses are not timely and spotty. I have posted on listing contacts and leads by last name. I have posted on a disappearing "locate map" button. Contact Sort Order
I cant find a way to sort Last_Name, First_Name. The sorting by First name is of no use to me and an unwelcome distraction. jjhitt

Remove Zoho Suite Link
In Zoho CRM on demand is there a way to remove the Zoho Suite link at the top of the page? Can it be done for just certain users? We also have the same question about the Help link at the top of the page. Please advise. Thanks.

My leads contain the person's birthdate. So if I create a custom field in the lead module called Birth Date, how can I map this to be entered in the Contact Birth Date field when the lead is converted? Please advise.
Using IIS to connect to CRM from outside Network, issues
Hello, I have a small computer running Zoho CRM for my company. The pc is running XP Pro, with IIS with a static IP. By default its running localhost:8080. I can connect to it locally within the network, ex. 192.168.1.8:8080 and it connects just fine. When I try to access it outside of the network, it will not load. I have the local path set in IIS to C:\AdventNet\ZohoCRM\webapps\crm\html The default document is set to welcome.html Then i have port 801 opened on my router and windows firewall. So
System performance in Leads
Hi I successfully imported over 150 leads in to the system without any problem. However, when I try to manipulate the list any way (delete records, navigate back and forth, sort etc., the machine CPU usage goes to 100% and everything sort of hangs. After waiting for about 1-2 minutes everything gets back to normal until the next command. Not sure what is causing it - may be refresh of the charts in the bottom of the screen, or any other background process. Environment: Machine: Compaq Presario OS:

listing Company name and Lead name on Tasks
I have been trying for the last 1/2 hour to figure out how to display the Lead name and their company on the task display with no success. How can I do this? Data fields are missing in "Edit Potential Information&
Help! Desperate need of your support since I'm running a follow up to a campaign. Can't update stages in Edit Potential Information view. View Criteria
I have a view where I would like to specify two criteria for Lead Status. The first is one of the valid entries from my selection list. The second criteria is where Lead Status is blank. I have tried "Or Lead Status None" and "Or Lead Status IS (blanks in value field)" but neither will work. Is there a Reserved Word I can use to test for Blanks or Nulls?
Error in Potentials Settings
Hi, I edited the section "Edit Page Layout" in the "Potentials Settings" typing "Opportunità" as name of the first section (the one that's originally named as "Potential Information"). Now, the Potentials Section doesn't work very well... I think the "à" character isn't good for the section's names, but I can't edit it anymore: if I click edit I can change the name, but when I click "Save" I see an error that says "Page not found". Syncing with Outlook
It is my understanding that there is a tool to sync ZohoCRM with MS Outlook. But I can't find the sync tool anyplace. When I go to Setup> Personal Settings > I can see the Outlook addition link but it is grayed out. Is there a secret place to get the plug-in???

Specifying List Price on Quotes
When a quote is created and a product name has been specified in the product details section of the quote it is then necessary to either manually enter a list price or pick the price from a quote book. I'm trying to compare the working features between ZohoCRM, SugarCRM, and VtigerCRM. Yes, I realize Sugar is open source and also not open source, Vtiger is open source, and Zoho is not open source. I also understand that some are hosted (on-demand) and some are on premise. These seem to be the typical comparisons when looking at the three products. SUGGESTION for Enhancement
When working with CONTACTS which have a address (mail, shipping) it would be nice to be able to copy in those addresses to the ACCOUNT. This becomes a huge time saver when buying list (infoUSA) and they do not provide addresses for both account and contact for the import. temiller11
