Zip Code
Hi In the Leads section I have hidden the Zip Code entry and added a Post Code Pick List in which I have entered the local post codes for Brisbane, Australia. My questions are: Is it possible instead to convert the Zip Code to a Pick List? When I convert a lead to a potential will the new Postcode field show? I would also like to do the same for the City field. Is that at all possible? Thank you Jean

would it be possible to set up Zoho to email out anytime info is updated to a specific account, anytime something is updated to a specific area (potentials, contacts, etc.) or any other deliniation that the user wants?

Can't enter phone numbers
Today, I have not been able to sumbit any new contact or new account forms with phone numbers. I get a Enter a Valid Phone error message everytime. I've tried hyphes, periods, spaces and parenthses. I have not tried other forms yet, but this could be system wide. I see you all did push a change yesterday or today that enables US form of phone numbers.
Report Creation - Problem
I am trying to create custom reports in the Report tab and cannot. Only (2) reports show up: Forecast Reports Quarterly Forecast Summary Forecast History Report I cannot create or save new reports. I did create a custom folder, but can't create reports. Am I missing something or is there a problem (I am using the "On Demand" web-based product). P.S. I think that CRM is a great product overall!!!! :)

Copying fileds form leads to contact acconts and potentials
I have set-up a number of fields in the leads section but wish to set these fields up in accounts, potentials and contacts. Is there a quick way to fo this? Can I copy these fields in the set-up? Thanks.

Hello, I have just started understanding CRM and I find your tool just great! I have been creating quotes both from the quotes module and from the potentials option If I create one in potentials, it will not show at the quotes listing and vice versa.... is there any substantial difference in a quote created for a potential and another created for the module itself?
Importing my contacts - taking forever
I am importing my contacts from a csv file. I only have about 250. It's been running for over ten minutes. Is this normal? Tony
Can't bulk import contacts without making duplicate account
When I do a Import of my contacts there is no way for me to link them to a single account. I have the account name as a field and when I import, Zoho creates a new account for each contact. Also if I were to import my accounts first then try and associate my contact import, there is no way to bulk assign my contacts to that account. Is there a way to mass import my contacts into an account without Zoho creating a new (duplicate) account for every contact? This seems to be a very big limitation, if

I am not able to search Cases by Case Number. Normally people do it by Case Number / Case Ids.
Can't connect new user to host server -send email link, how?
I setup the second user correctly, however no email was received by the user to confirm url login link. How can I resend the email link? I have tried to manually setup login but no luck. I have tried using the local host ip setting with port 8080 but no luck.

Cannot create new user
I just installed on a Windows 2000 Server and when I try to create the first user, the browser refreshes to the following page, and dos nothing more: http://mydomainname:8080/crm/zohosignup.sas (mydomainname is a placeholder for the actual IP address). Can I upload my sales data into your application?
You can very well upload your Sales data using Import feature available in our application. The data has to be either in CSV or XLS format. You can use "Import My Potentials" or "Import My Organization Potentials" link available under Potential Tools section in Potentials Tab. It can also be accessible from SetUp -> Import Tools . invoice modification
We do a lot of consulting. Some of our billings are for fees, not products. I looking at the invoice functions, it does not appear that one can modify the invoice structure to work with fees, as the 'product details' field cannot be removed or modify. Thus, the invoice shows up with Product Name, Quantity, Unit Price, List Price etc., which are not appropriate for consulting fee billings. Did I miss something or is this set up for product-based invoicing only? Thanks

I have just installed the free version of CRM for testing. I've configured the outbound SMTP server and each time I create a new user nothing gets emailed to the email ID provided. Hi I have just downloaded your program CRM 5 but I am struggling to get it to work. The furthest I got was a 'command prompt page' with the message: Problems connecting to server. Press any key to continue...' When I did so that page dissappeared and there was no further activity.
