Using Zoho CRM's Python SDK to fetch all records on a module, including lookup fields and related fields.
Hi everyone. So I've been having a tonne of fun using Zoho's APIs to fetch and update records to make any necessary changes to records, saving me a lot of manual effort. However, some limitations I seem to notice with the Python sdk's "get_records" function is that: - A field value only appears if it's actually populated, - Related fields to that module do not show up. - Lookup fields do not show up. I really need to be able to create a checklist under a deal. This checklist needs to be unique to each deal, so from my understanding creating one in Blueprint doesn't help. We handmake all of the products we sell and I would like to be able to create a quick checklist of what products are in the deal, so that we can check them off when they are completed. Conditional Default Fields
Hi there, I'd like to define default values for a number of fields (let's say 10) based on 2 other fields (Opportunity Type and a custom field). There are 4 different values in our custom field that drive the change in default values of the other 10 - but because every opportunity is different, I need to be able to change the field. Example. If Type = "Standard" then Fields 1-5 are "Yes" but I need to be able to change Field 3 to "No" and Field 4 to "Yes - Red".
Contacts permission set up for different users
Hi Everybody, I would like to set up like standard users to be able to enter their contacts or other information, which will not be shared with other users of different team since we have users from different team on CRM. When using Zoho CRM to send send emails to contacts etc. is it possible to have the sent emails integrated into Outlook via IMAP or some other solution. I need to have the emails sent with Zoho in my sent items of my email server as well (similar to how hubspot does it).

Zoho Creator showing outdated module template?
Hello, I have edited the default template for Leads in Zoho CRM. However, when I try to create an app with Creator's CRM intergration, it shows the original, default template that does not even exist anymore. I'm a little confused, because when I use Zoho Forms to create the integration, it shows me the correct template with the correct required fields.

Using the Analytics features to track blank vs non-blank fields.
So a very quick and easy use-case to give some context: Let's say you have a team of Sales Reps. Whenever they speak to another company on your business' behalf, they are supposed to log it in a module called "Client Meetings" and track stuff like "No. of Employees", "Age", "Net Revenue", etc of that company. For convenience, this is not a mandatory field because the info is not always available. Now let's say you're interested in gauging your sales reps by how frequently they leave each field blank.

I'm new to Zoho CRM, and we are in the process of sending out our first mailing. We want to make sure we don't send the same mailing to members of the same company (account). Hello, I'm trying to send a mass email to only accounts that have had a closed won deal in the last 6 months, I am not able to filter this way from the accounts module but i can from the deals module. However, on the deals module we have several deals under the same accounts. So when we filter down to closed won deals in the last 6 months, some of the accounts will appear more than once. Syncing ALL Relationships with Outlook/Phone
I own a construction company and need to track the following "relationships" and types: Leads (4 types) Clients (4 types) Subcontractors (27 types) Suppliers (12 types) I need all of these relationships sync'd with both Office 365 and my phone so that the name will associate with the email address in Outlook, and the name will populate on my caller ID with a contact calls me. It appears that Zoho CRM will only sync "Contacts" and no other types. Is there a work around method to accomplish my needs

Client Only Notes and Comments From Mobile App
There are a couple of things I can't determine the difference on. How do others work with the following? On the CRM mobile app (iOS) you can make a "comment" on a note, task, etc. However, the only place I can see this comment in the desktop CRM record is in the timeline. How to properly sort contacts by date of birth
I want to sort out my contacts by their date of birth - this month. When I apply this filter, it gives me zero result because it sorts our according to real time and real year -- for example if I apply "this month" filter January 2020, then it only gives me contacts who born in January 2020, which is none....... How to remove a inexistant Creator App view and setting a default view in CRM
Hi, I created a Creator app I want to integrate into the CRM. During the integration process, you can select which views can be shared. HOwever (see screenshot), the View 1 doesn't exist in the Creator App. When I share it, there is any error when a user access the module, the view can't be found. How can I remove the View 1 from CRM ? I try to set the View 2 as default view, But how I can do that?
What's the best way to handle an upgrade or downgrade of an existing client deal?
We frequently have deals that have closed where at a later date we incrementally add additional service to the same deal or remove/downgrade an existing deal. If we add a new deal for the difference, it really starts to make it kind of messy. If we upgrade the deal, we dont want to change the original close date but would like to reflect the new incremental revenue or downgrade. What's the best way to handle these changes.
Revenue Field question
In my business, I need to be able to include the sell price and the revenue in the DEAL section. They are not the same number because our company's revenue is the sell price MINUS payment to vendors for equipment and labor. What we earn from that deal is different from the sell price (less), but we want both figures to be included in the Deal information.
