question about spam
I have a zoho e-mail and another e-mail with at&t. I was getting spam in my at&t e-mail from a spam-bot using a friend's email address. I forgot about this problem this particular friend was having and accidentally e-mailed them from my zoho spam-free address. They replied back to me and so now I'm getting spam here as well. My question is... can whatever is using my friend's e-mail now get into my contacts and start sending out spam in my name?
No IMAP notification?
So I'm using Operamail and have tried myopera email (IMAP) and it notifies me the second an email arrives. I tried the same thing with Zoho and there was no notification until I manually checked it. Did I not activate some setting? I did enable IMAP in my Zoho settings. I checked my email settings for both IMAP accounts (myopera and zoho) and they're identical. My username and password work otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the message when I manually checked the server.
Mail account is blocked?
Our mail account is blocked, I believe as I went over the 5GB limit. I have removed emails and now only using 85% of our 5GB limit, accounts is still blocked?? I have gone into Control Panel -> Mail Admin -> Troubleshoot -> Blocked Users, where our account is blocked however cannot unblock this? Please fix ASAP.

What is email attachment size limit, inbound and outbound? How much storage for Zoho free accts? (I know mail is 5gig; can I store docs in that 5gig? What is the limit of doc storage?)
I'm wondering how much storage space is available here @ Zoho; I know that there is 5 gig available for mail storage, can that 5 gig be used also to store docs? If not, how much storage (for docs, spreadsheets, etc) is given in free account? Last, what is the largest size attachment to be put onto an email sent and/or received at Zoho? Why do I need to take immediate action when my mailbox size is 4,208 MB when the quota is at 5GB?
I just received the following email from Zoho Mail: Your mailbox size is nearing the quota alloted to you. Your current MailBox size : 4,208 MB We request you to take immediate steps to clean up your mailbox and create free space for your email account to function without any issues.I am a free user and from the FAQ I understand that my mailbox quota should be 5GB. How do the 4,208MB in this email relate to 5GB? Isn't 5GB = 5*1024MB, which would mean that I have plenty of room before running out

The whole Google shariing all their information had got me edgy, I'm looking for different places to do what I need/want to to. One question I have is about Zoho's ability to deal with spam. It's my understanding that Google is pretty much "The Gold Standard" as far as spam detection/deletion, wondering what is the general consensus here, or is there one? Mail issue
Hi, Mail from my 3rd party inbox is being received in the zoho mail inbox. However, the inbox is not synching, it just keeps adding mails. Even deleted mails remain. Also my folders are not copied. Is there any setting required to get my folders into zoho mail and keep them synched along with the inbox mail.

Fragment of email remains at the bottom of email window.
Now I have another issue which may be related. In my mail window, at the bottom (it should be outlined in red) some fragment of the mail window resides at the bottom, acting something like a frame, staying stationary as the rest of the text scrolls up and down. Name does not show up in inbox when sending through gamil server
I set up my gmail account as an additional account within zoho. Mail sent through the gmail server shows up in the recipient inbox as from gmail instead of having my name on it. I also set up a Comcast account. Mail sent from zoho or through Comcast server shows up in recipient inbox correctly with my name.

Mail shifting up after viewing HTML email
Hi, I have a strange problem. I use Google Chrome for Zoho Mail (this doesn't happen with Internet Explorer). When I read an HTML email the whole web page shifts up about 30 pixels. I've attached a screenshot showing an example. This happens every time I open an HTML email. Any idea what could be causing this? I'm using the latest version of Chrome. Thanks.

Hello, I hope you all are well. I am using zoho mail in IE and I need to learn how it keep it on "top" so I can navigate and use the options on the top like settings and all of that. Attaching files in Firefox
Hello I can't attach any files to message with Mozilla Firefox (10.0.2). I click to "Attach..." button, choose file in appeared page, click OK and nothing happens. In other browsers (Google Chrome, IE) this function works fine. Please solve this problem. Thanks.
Ideas for web interface improvements
Here are several proposals I've come up with after a couple of weeks of using Zoho. Please comment and/or add ideas. More varied color themes. Very dark gray should be an option, since the current themes are too bright and hard on the eyes. Reconnect after computer sleep works most of the time, but there's no visual indication. Thanks all, I appreciate any help in advance. Sometimes I may want to forward multiple existing email messages as attachements in a new email message. I can't seem to do this in Zoho. Setting up zoho mail
Greetings, I tried to setup zoho mail yesterday and it did not work and created a big mess with what I am currently using. I use and isp for my email through my own domain. I setup gmail to read my mail in and to send because my regualr job liits the ports I can use and one of them is what my isp uses. I want to move from google to zoho but need some instructions about how to do it. I want to drop gmail and use zoho to read and write emails through my own domain. Clear as mud? Any help?
Activesync Problem
I just recently setup Zoho Activesync on my iPhone and have noticed a problem. Senders with display names containing commas get split into two addresses on the iPhone. For example, if a message is sent from the following: Last, First <firstlast@mydomain.com> it shows up on the iPhone as being addressed from Last and First. Last shows as an invalid address since no email address is associated with it. First works since it gets the associated email address. It appears that it's getting confused

Delayed e-mail forwarding
Hello, I switched from Google Apps to Zoho Mail, finally managed to set up aliases, catchall e-mail and forwarding, and all seems to work fine except that e-mail forwarding generates unpredictable, somewhat long delays. Incoming e-mails don't get forwarded immediately, but after a while: yesterday the delay was in the 1-5 minutes range; this morning as I'm writing I've been waiting for a forward for 16 minutes and counting. Trying to Create imap Account
I have tried to do this with Outlook 2003 and Thunderbird with no luck. Outlook 2003 says unable to connect to the server and in Thunderbird it tells me wrong username or password. I use a password manager and when I log in via webmail it works like a charm but when I try create an imap account in Outlook or Thunderbird it does not work. You provide one for SHEET. It's not a problem with new messages as one can pre-select the format of one's text at the start. But replying to a message is a problem and one ends up with a mix of untidy looking styles, particularly if one interposes responses in the text of the original message. One ends up having to re-format each insertion individually - a bit of a pain. Thank you

Problem with sending mail using Zoho
Hi, I've been having problems with my Zoho mail personal account. I use outlook express to send emails to someone regularly but I recently sent an email with a jpg attachment of 17.5KB which didn't arrive and there were no error messages. I also tried using the web interface and this didn't work either. Whenever I try to send it again the recipient doesn't get it. Some emails arrive, some don't.The recipient is in the Whitelist on the Zoho mail web interface.
