1. In a nutshell
An event type can be copied to create a new one, which copies all the settings you've configured. This reduces the time and effort of replicating the same settings again. Similarly, an event type can be moved to another workspace if it no longer belongs to the old workspace, thereby moving all the settings, appointments and the assigned schedule can be moved along with it.
2. Feature availability
- Super admins and admins can perform these actions for all workspaces
- Workspace admins can perform these actions only for their assigned workspaces
- Managers and staff cannot perform copy or move actions
3. Overview
Note: Before proceeding, click here to learn about event types. When a new event type is created, it involves configuring various settings like preferences, availability, notifications, and more. When multiple event types need to be created, it can be time-consuming to configure the same settings repeatedly. To avoid this, an event type can be copied to create new event types with the same set of configurations.
At times, an event type could end up in the wrong workspace or no longer belong to its original workspace due to changes over time. In such cases, you have the option to move them to a different workspace.
