Using Trident's Menu Bar App for Mail

To compose a new email using the menu bar app:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Plus  icon. 
3. Select New Mail from the menu list.
   

The Mail Composer will open in a new window, from which you can compose and send your email.

Using Trident's Menu Bar App for Cliq

Trident's menu bar app for Cliq enables you to change your Cliq status, chat with frequent contacts, and make calls. It also displays the recent call history. 

To change your Cliq status from the menu bar app:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the current Cliq status. 
3. Select the desired status from the menu list or enter a custom status. 
   

To chat with your frequent contacts, click their profile image displayed below the Cliq status. This will open the chatbox in Trident for you to chat with them. 

To initiate an audio, video, or screen-shared call:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Plus  icon in the Recent Calls tile that displays the call history.
3. Search for the person you want to call.
4. Hover over the search result and choose between Audio Call , Video Call , or Screen Share  by clicking the respective icons. 
   

Note: To view the Recent Calls, enable it from the menu bar Widgets.

Using Trident's Menu Bar App for Notes

Trident's menu bar app for Cliq enables you to:

• Create a new note
• View up to two latest notes
• Edit previously created notes
• Color code notes
• Send notes in an email
• Delete notes
• Stick notes
• Pop out notes in a new window
• Mark notes as favorite

To create a new note:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Plus  icon. 
3. Select New Note from the menu list.
   

Alternatively, you can also click the Plus  icon in the Notes tile that displays the notes you've created. 

To edit and manage notes:

1. Hover over the note.
2. Click the More Options  icon.
3. Select the desired option from the menu list.

Using Menu Bar App for WorkDrive

When the WorkDrive menu bar app widget is enabled, you can view your cloud-stored files.

Using Trident's Menu Bar App for Attendance

When the Attendance menu bar widget (Zoho People) is enabled, you can use its options to check in and check out, as well as view the working hour timer.

Accessing Smart Assistant

To access the Smart Assistant from the menu bar app:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Thunderbolt  icon.

Accessing Global Search 

You can access the global search to look up information across Trident. To invoke the global search:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Search  icon. 
   

Enabling Do Not Disturb (DND) 

To enable DND from the menu bar app:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the DND  icon. 
3. Select the desired DND time duration from the menu list.

Accessing Menu Bar App Settings

From the menu bar app Settings, you can:

• Open the desktop app
• Detach the menu bar app as a mini window
• Enable and disable the widgets in the menu bar app
• Refresh all the widgets in the menu bar app
• Access Trident desktop app's Settings
• Quit Trident

Enabling Menu Bar App Widgets

The following widgets are available in the menu bar app:

• Contacts
• Attendance
• Recent Calls
• Notes
• WorkDrive

You can enable or disable them from the menu bar app. To do so:

1. Click open the menu bar app from the system menu. 
2. Click the Settings  icon. 
3. Select Widgets.
4. Check or uncheck widgets as needed.
