Latest updates in Social to elevate your social media marketing

Hello everyone,
 
We've recently introduced a lot of features and enhancements to Social in Zoho CRM Plus to help you improve your social media marketing. Here is a list of all the updates.

Video marketing

Integrating YouTube

Youtube can now be integrated with Social, which lets you publish or schedule videos to your YouTube channel. The Monitor tab lets you keep an eye on all your likes, dislikes, and playlist. It also lets you moderate comments on your channel. In addition, a detailed report is available that lets you analyze the audience, post and engagement, video performance, cards, and end screen. You can also create a custom report and export it or share it through email. This report can be scheduled to be generated automatically and shared with clients or team members.

Customize your video's thumbnail

While uploading a video, you can set the thumbnail in the following way
  • Select an auto-generated thumbnail: Once a video is uploaded, a list of thumbnails will be automatically generated that are different screenshots from the video. You can select a thumbnail of your choice.
  • Upload image as a thumbnail: Select an image from your computer to use as the video's thumbnail.
  • Choose a frame from the video as a thumbnail: Play the video and pause it at the frame you want to set as the video's thumbnail. You can also drag the cursor across the video timeline and select a frame.

Content approvals and workflow

Social media posts can be sent as drafts for approval before they are published. Users with the Publisher role can create these drafts and send them for approval, which can be approved by users with Approver permission. They can also update, or reject the post from getting published. If rejecting, they can include a reason for rejection, which will be shared with the publisher.

Smarter publishing assistance

UTM tracking

These are simple text codes that let you track website visitors and  traffic sources. The UTI Parameters—including source, medium, campaign, and content—can be appended to the URL right from Social. You can also append a custom parameter if required. These parameters can be used to analyze traffic using an analytics tool.

Instagram first comment

Social lets you add a comment along with your Instagram post, and both can be published together. This comes in handy when you want to include a list of hashtags along with the post. Adding them as a comment avoids cluttering the caption, helps target the right audience, and boosts visibility for the post.

Schedule retweets

Retweets can be scheduled to be published at a later date and time. You can add them to the queue or choose a time slot suggested by SmartQ. SmartQ predicts the date and time there is a high chance for an increase in the audience traffic.

Content management

RSS feeds

These allow you to follow updates of any new content from websites you're interested in. You can add a list of feeds and share the updates on social media, discuss the post with your teammates, or move it to draft.

Media library

This is a repository where you can add resources such as videos, images, and GIFs that can be included in posts across channels. You can add files from your computer or select files from various cloud services such as Zoho Workdrive, Google Drive, Box.

Cloud Picker

Files can be uploaded from Zoho Workdrive, Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Dropbox, Evernote and from your computer.

Lead generation from LinkedIn

Lead forms in Social can be used to gather contact information from prospects by sharing engaging content on LinkedIn. This contact information can be synchronized with your CRM account and you can continue your sales process.

zShare extension for browsers

Often we come across interesting content we want to share with our social media audience. That might involve a series of steps that can be avoided by using the zShare browser extension. With this, you can easily share articles, blogs, tweets, and posts on Facebook.

zShare in Google

This extension can be used to generate relevant results in Twitter based on your search keywords in Google. You can also view the user results from Twitter.

zShare in Facebook

This extension automatically adds a zShare button, which can be used to share posts, links, videos, and articles that you come across in Facebook. You can modify the content before publishing them across various social channels.

zShare in Twitter

This extension automatically adds a zShare button in Twitter, which can be used to share tweets across various social channels. You can choose to schedule the tweet or post it right away.
