web password protected files with Zoho Online Excel Viewer
Hello, I have a website that is password protected (apache with .htaccess), in this website i have a few excel files. Normally with firefox and other utilities i use the url to access the files like such http://username:password@website.com/file.xls. I've tried this method with Zoho Online Excel Viewer but it doesnt seem to work. How can i access my files with the online excel viewer? Lenir

Hey guys, I want to publish my excel files just like the Print Preview shows it. The only thing is that when i use the url, it has a curtime variable that changes everytime i log in. Help needed to embed sheet
I'm a total newbie with Zoho. I teach biology and think it will have great education use. However, I want to have a simple editable page thats blank to begin. When I tried to publich to web I recieved a code but the http address had a funny code. I suspect it has something to do with an API code. I have an API code but what the hell do I do with it? Hi guys, I've just started using Zoho Sheet and I really like it. I was wondering if there was a Help Section anywhere? I've looked but I can't find one... Purely for appearance sake I'm wondering how to format numbers...is there the option to format a range of cells, for example so that 20000000 appears as 20,000,000? Cell background problem
I've noticed today that when cell values change they do this weird glowing effect. Sometimes the effect changes the actual background color of my cells. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It would be nice to have an option to disable the glow effect or possibly use a red outline rather than the glow to show how cells are affected by the formula entered. dreamisle

User experience for Zoho Sheets - stable ?
Hi readers, We are looking at several options for online spreadsheet functionality that allows collaboration. As of today, we have come down to either google sheets or zoho sheets. I like the functionality of zoho better, it seems more complete, but based on my testing the past few days, it seems rather unstable (admitedly, I am comparing beta products of both zoho and google here). What is your experience with Zoho sheets for frequent usage ? I don't want to bias my findings if these are exceptions

Problem Loading Saved Sheet
Hello, So I'm using Zoho Sheet to create a spreadsheet for names and addresses of everyone invited to my wedding. I've inputed and saved over 100 guests with their addresses, and now your application won't let me pull it up. The name of the sheet appears in the "my sheets" area on the left, but when I click it, I just get a loading message ("Loading guestlist...") and nothing happens. I appreciate a lot the multiple date formats you have in Zoho Sheet. The thing is that as I am from Mexico, I need Zoho to write the month name in spanish instead of writing it in english. Do you have any plans to translate Zoho sheets? Thanks a lot. zenapeiron
switching between sheet and writer
How does one easily switch between the 2 programmes? I logged into Writer and then wanted to create a sheet BUT everytime I went back to Zoho Home it just brought me back to my current position on Writer. the only way to do it was to log out and go into Sheet from main page.
Problem Loading Saved Sheet (AGAIN)
I'm having the same problem again using a different account. The sheet will not load. It just shows the "Loading wedding list" box and never loads. This is the second time this has happened and it's really frustrating. I've tried several different times using different browsers and none of them will load the sheet. Can't see Sheets in Internet Explorer
I uploaded a single-layer Excel sheet, and it works perfectly in Firefox, both in Windows and MEPISLinux. But when I try to view it in Internet Explorer, whether in Windows 2000 or 98se, i get the green ZohoSheet links bar immediately under the browser's buttons, but the screen below that remains white. I have been using a saved worksheet ("MerrillLynch") for several weeks with no problems. Since last week, when I try to open it, I get the following error message: "Error occurred" "Problem while Opening the Document" I REALLY need to get to this worksheet or save/download it to Excel... HELP!
ZOHO Spreadsheet is painfully slow
Hi, I'm new to ZOHO sheets. Though I find ZOHO to be far superior to Google Spreadsheets, I find it extremely slow in processing. Sometimes, the Internet explorer doesn't even respond to my actions. Do I need to load any special plug-in to make it work faster? Please suggest. Thanks

I used Zoho Sheet and I was able to create a spreadsheet with unicode character. However, when I reloaded the file, or when I shared it with others, the text became un-readable. Is there a way that we can create hyperlinks in cells or even have the cells recognize when a link is typed in, so it is clickable. I have attempted to embed a sheet in my website. The sheet contains a bunch of links, but visitors on my visitors can not click on the link. They will have to copy the link. :(

Cannot import a file or paste data
I'm trying out Zoho Sheets in the hope that I can post a simple Excel schedule to enable collaboration by 4 people. So far, I have been unabe to either import the file or simply paste the data into the online sheet. It would be great if this online application works, but so far it hasn't for me. It seems like every time I try to access Zoho Sheet at night (eastern US time) none of my saved sheets are available. This usually scares the crap out of me, but the next morning they are available. What's up with this? -Andrew

Browser Compatibility
I was wondering if there was any info available on which browsers Zoho Sheet is supported under. I realize that this is still in beta, and documentation is yet to come, so the question is no doubt a bit premature :) I've been using Camino 1.0.1 (OS X), and have experienced a small bit of UI weirdness. Before the file sharing email is sent out, it would be desirable to have the option to edit the outgoing message before it is sent; enabling the user to clarify the purpose of the file; in addition to the Zoho message... ;) PS: Did you know the forum spell checker traps "Zoho" as a mispelled word... lol

Email invitations not arriving
I have been trying to share my spreadsheet via email invitations, but it is not working. When we first tested the service a month ago it worked fine, but now I have tried it from too different log-ins to zohosheet and tried inviting many different people, but the email never arrives (we have checked junk mail).

Can i just lock the file so that no one should be able to save it but just view it online and no editing
