Hello everyone,
To enhance your experience of collaborating with co-trainers, we've launched a new community sub-series in our 'Spotlight' forums. This sub-series is divided into three consecutive posts and focuses on detailed features within ShowTime. Through this sub-series, we intend to better explain how your co-trainers can assist you, the trainer before, after, and during a session.
Pre-session collaboration is vital to a well-managed and impressive training session. Before a session begins in ShowTime, co-trainers can assist in preparation with various promotional activities, attendee assessment, and much more.
In our first post of this series, "Pre-session collaboration with co-trainers", we focus on how your co-trainers can assist with in-session evaluations of attendees, managing personalized email invites, and effective training promotion.
1. Setting up real-time assessments using live polls
Research suggests that when questions are designed to externalize student understanding, in-class polling can help monitor peer-learning methods (Caldwell, 2007). As a co-trainer in ShowTime, you can set up polls to gather trainee feedback and assessment. After creating a session, co-trainers can access these polls under the Session Details tab and customize them for your session. Running fresh poll data helps to make immediate instructional decisions and improves your training methods to better suit the needs of your audience.
2. Sending out personalized invites to trainees
Email is the most efficient way to reach your target audience. ShowTime allows your co-trainers to send out personalized email invites directly with customizable emails. All they have to do is click on the Invite people button and enter invitees' email addresses. Your co-trainers can now follow up with potential trainees and even invite people from their own training network to your sessions. Be sure to invite your dedicated group of trainees and have a great training experience with the audience of your choice!
3. Promoting your trainings to audience across the globe
Co-trainers can also help promote your trainings on their own website/blog by embedding the session details or the registration form. Your site can have dedicated landing pages for trainings with engaging social content like testimonials, information about a high-profile guest trainer, and media coverage of your courses. All of these promotions can help give your training reputation a massive boost. These promotions can also help target the same markets of your respective co-trainers, identify new prospects, strengthen your brand identity, and improve overall audience exposure.
Be sure to utilize a co-presenter's expertise and deliver a rich learning experience for your participants. In upcoming posts, we will highlight how a co-trainer can gauge attendees, moderate discussions, answer audience questions, and much more. Please feel free to share your experiences with co-trainer collaboration. If you have any further questions, write to us at support@zohoshowtime.com
