Admin Access to Message Read Statistics in Zoho Cliq

Hello Zoho Cliq Team,

We hope you're doing well.

We would like to request a feature enhancement that would allow admins or channel owners to view read/unread statistics for messages, even if they were not the original sender.


🎯 Use Case:

Currently, in Zoho Cliq, only the sender of a message can view who has read their message. While this is useful for individuals, it presents limitations for admins and team leads who need to monitor message engagement across important internal announcements or operational messages sent by others.

For example:

  • If a team leader posts an urgent update in a channel, the admin may want to verify who has read it — even if they didn’t post it themselves.

  • In company-wide or department-level channels, admins often oversee communication but don’t directly send every message.


✅ Requested Feature:

  • Allow admins and/or channel owners to view read/unread statistics for all messages in channels they manage.

  • Include this visibility directly in the message UI (as it appears for the sender)

This functionality would significantly improve oversight, especially in larger organizations where message tracking and acknowledgment are key to internal coordination.
