I set up multiple forms a couple of months ago and added goal tracking on all of them using the destination URL method in Google Analytics. Tracking worked on deployment.
I made no changes to them or Google Analytics, but they all seemed to mysteriously stop tracking altogether on April 15. I didn't discover this until a couple of weeks ago.
I reached out to the Zoho Forms support team and they told me it was because I was using the full URL string and that I should omit the end and change it to "begins with" in Google Analytics. I made that change across all my forms then and there, but it didn't fix it. Here's an example of one form:
Entry one (me)- Still did not register a conversion.
Entry two (a coworker)- registered the conversion.
Entry three (a prospect)- did not register the conversion.
Entry four (Zoho)- registered the conversion.
Entry five (a prospect)- did not register the conversion.
I reached out to Zoho again because nothing changed on my end between any of these. I didn't get any kind of response as to what might cause it. I'm not doing any filtering in Google Analytics beyond filtering out my IP, but even when I was testing it, I shut off the filter and used a different IP.
Have any of you had this issue or do you know what might cause it?
