Hi Zoho,
I am still struggling to keep Zoho Notebook stable on my Mac platform. I have sent in a couple of crash logs and I am making sure I have the latest version from the Mac App store. I love this application and really want to get it stable. The issue seems to be related to syncing.
I have installed the Android version on my other devices and they work great. Web access via Mac is fantastic too. I really am a big fan of Notebook and really want to see this work on my Mac. I was curious if there are any known conflicting software packages that may be causing the issue.
Installation goes without any problems. Will initially work fine. Can access Notebooks and notes, but after opening a few, I eventually get the spinning beachball and Mac OS shows it as not responding. Only way to resolve is force quit. Once this occurs, all further attempts to open Notebook result in an open application with a spinning beach ball and eventually not responding.
Below is some information that I hope may be of use.
- Mojave 10.14.6
- MacPro 15", 2018
- 2.9Ghz i9
- 32GB memory
- 1TB HDD with > 300GB free space
- Potential software that may can sometimes give applications grief:
- Little Snitch (have tried both creating rules permitting all Zoho traffic to traverse the network and have tried disabling. No effect)
- Synmantec End Point Protection
I am migrating from Evernote to Notebook
I have tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling the Zoho Notebook App.
I have tried deleting my Zoho account and creating a new one then doing the Evernote port over.
Most recent crash logs attached
Looking for other suggestions to try.
Could it be a malformed Evernote note?
Are there other logs, beyond crash logs, which might be helpful in diagnosing this issue?
Thanks for making such a well designed app available for use. I hope we can work together to solve this. I am happy to work with developers to solve this issue.
Cheers,
Mark
