Hello!
We have this problem with our Forms - CRM integration. In choice fields, the choices get duplicated or triplicated in the CRM and do not match pre-defined options in the CRM because in the form, the options are: different languages and/or more explanation to helo the user selecting.
Zoho Forms already lets you assign a value to this choices. It is a numeric value and it is used with calculations. It will be GREAT to be able to assign an alphanumeric value, thus when the Zoho CRM integration works, will use THIS value instead of what it will be written in the choice in the form.
USE CASE:
Having 3 options for a field in the CRM, in English as a common language for the team, this could be triggering workflows or other things: A, B and C.
In the Form, you can have many versions, with more information and even different languages, for example:
Form I choices:
- Model A, the red car
- Model B, the green motorbike
- Model C, the purple bicycle
Form II choices:
- Modelo A, el auto rojo
- Modelo B, la moto verde
- Modelo C, la bicicleta violeta
Both Forms, could be assigned the values, respectively: A, B and C. Thus, in the CRM they will be consistent, no matter the language, no matter the abreviations and thus will also activate the same workflows triggers, layout rules, and other automations (blueprints, etc).
Would this be possible? Is there any workaround if not?
Its hard to believe that no one else has been through this headache. Looks like a really common problem.
Best regards,
Juan
