In some cases, one or multiple Tasks or Issues can be associated to one or multiple Zoho Desk Tickets.
Example: multiple customers submitting an Issue or a feature request on an Issue or a Task already registered in Zoho Projects.
Ideally we would like to have a Field in a Zoho Projects Task or Issue where we can search one or multiple Ticket ID's / subjects from Zoho Desk and viceversa, allowing to create an N:N relationship between N tickets to N issues/tasks.
Once the Ticket is linked to the Task, you can add more. And viceversa.
This way you can also view all tickets associated to a task/issue and all tasks/issues associated to a ticket. This is helpful in project management and customer relationship management where you want to keep track of common issues/tasks/tickets.
The association in one platform should be reflected into the other platform, i.e. associating a Zoho Desk Ticket in a Zoho Projects Task should automatically add the Task in the Ticket, and viceversa.
Upon clicking on a task from Desk should open a new browsertab with Zoho Projects Task, and vicecersa.
Having a report or view could also be helpful.
But it seems it's one-way (from Desk to Projects) and limited to 1 ticket = 1 task.
Hope all this makes sense and other Zoho users find the same need for this feature!
Or, if this can be done via Custom Function or Deluge, please point us into the right direction (with pseudocode or similar).
