Automatically assign users into user groups when using Azure Active Directory

We have SAML set up for our Help Center using Azure Active Directory. However, this obviously negates the user sign up moderation and therefore we would have to manually run after every new user to assign them into the correct user groups, as we are using that function to determine different levels of access in our knowledge base etc.
Is there a way to add automation so that users immediately get put into the correct user group when signup up with AD, so that we don't have to search them up and add them manually, risking that some might not get the correct information they need? Thanks!
