My advise to others - not all you read on the ZOHO Sites webpage is accurate - specifically when it comes to getting 5 mailboxes as part of the Pro Plan.
I signed up and paid for ZOHO sites. My paid "PRO Plan" included 5 mailboxes at the basic level, and I could sign up for more as needed. Since then, I've signed up for 3 more mailboxes, as well as received 5 more as part of a bonus referral.
Nowhere does it say that if I pay for and add another mail box, will my original 5 emails be voided.

As part of the paid - PRO Plan, I am expecting ZOHO to honor their commitment and provide me 5 mail boxes which is what I paid for. I also expect the 3 mail boxes which I've paid for as well. I also expect the 5 bonus mailboxes from my referral. Currently, that is a total of 13 mailboxes.
I fully expect to be adding more mailboxes in the future as our company expands, however, if you cannot honor your original commitment, it makes sense for me to find other alternative for email, Sites, CRM, and the other zoho services I am using.
Against the advise of our CEO, I took a chance and moved our company from Google Apps to ZOHO mail. On a side note, we are already having clients tell us that they are not getting some of the ZOHO hosted emails that we are sending them. I hope this does not turn out to be a mistake...
I just got off the phone with the ZOHO Mail support team and they confirmed my worse fears - anytime you make a change to a zoho mail plan, i.e. pay of another mailbox, - the 5 mail boxes with Sites goes away unless you pay extra for them, too. They said they would let the "Sites" team know about it "misunderstanding", but that's the way it is.
At the end of the day - paying for services is not at issue - it's the bait and switch that pisses me off.
Meanwhile - I'm going to start working on switching back to Google Apps - they cost a little more, but a least I know what I 'm paying for, and I don't have to worry if the emails get rejected by our client's spam filters.
