Bonsai Database

I have an MS Access database on which I have photos of each of the bonsai in my 100 -plus bonsai collection. Each "page" includes multiple photos taken over time, plus a narrative telling the history of care of the particular bonsai. It has become cumbersome to insert new photos as they now come into Access as icons rather than the image itself. So I am looking for a better database for the future, but also need to migrate all the old information and images over to the new database.
