Can't search calendar events when using new version

Can't search calendar events when using new version

Why does the new version (updated UI) not allow users to search their calendar events/meetings?   There is a search bar, but it searches MAIL, not calendar, even though I am in the calendar?

The old version of zoho calendar lets me search calendar events/meetings.
