Sales database run on Creator with 7000+ active leads. Need a button to command some script that can mail merge a document and print to PDF - or alternatively just mail-merge right into the PDF. SCENARIO: User gets a request for a proposal (quote), finds the lead in the database, then from a drop down menu picks a document template, and then have the companies name mail merged in. If the template is a word doc, then I can print to PDF, but prefer the mail merge doc be a PDF to start with. Is this possible, if so I will want this added to my database, if not do you have an alternative? Sample Proposal is attached - the mail merged field will be the companies name throughout the doc.
